And here's the armylist for waargh Skarsnik. My intention is to keep the list as it is. So no more tweeking. (ready = ready!)
I'm ready for the second army. Tonight I moved miniatures around on a shelf, trying to see if some units/models work good with each other, visually, tactically and fluffwise... I'm looking for a theme in an army (like the squigtheme in waargh Skarsnik), but it must also be able to fit in with the other armies, so when I play a bigger battle than 2000 points, the models will combine.
What I'm beginning to see, is that visually, you got to have one centerpiece in the army. This can be a nice character model like the warlord of Eightpeaks himself, or a giant or some other big model. So in the next army, if I go for the shamanlord on wyvern, I don't think a giant would look that terrific once it's all ready and standing on the displaybase. On the other hand, a O&G army is pretty chaotic in it's apearance...

That old snotling pump wagon is cool!
I ordered one too, since we now get 2 for one rare
Keep up the good work.
Hello , I'm back again.
I worked out the army composition. A orc shaman lord on a wyvern, a unit black orcs with the army battlestandard in them, 2 units of orcs, 2 units wolfriders, 2 rocklobbers, a wolfchariot and a giant. I'm trying some converting on the shaman lord, the giant and also the army battle standard, here's a picture of work in progress on the black orc.

I finished converting the black orc battle standard bearer. The hand that's pointing comes from a 40k Ork. It's much bigger than the hand that's holding the pole. but because the pointing hand is closer to the eye of the viewer, when the orc is standing in the unit, you'll hardly notice the size difference. I'm looking forward painting it.

Here are a few examples of black orcs. I gave them chaos warrior shields, because in my armylist, my black orcs have shields... I imagine the've slaughtered a small Khorne warband in the past and kept the excellent shields as throphys...

And here's the giant. I put a head of the new plastic giant kit on the body of the previous Games Workshop version of the giant. I think it fits rather well. Also, and I'm going to do that for a future army, The older Giant heads, wich are bigger than the new plastic ones look very nice on the new larger plastic giant. I'm not sure about the skintone. I think I'll paint it in a more 'human' palet...
mmm, his neck looks like it's a bit too long.

What a great undertaking. One day (When I get a job, work is hard!), hope to do somthing similar with skaven (Currently stockpiling a few battalions while waiting for new releases), glory to horde armies!
Lovely paintjobs from what I've seen sofar, goodluck with the army.
Edit: iirc, Morglums rules are on the orc website(or were for last ed) I realise they would need tweaking but it would be a good base.

I cut of the head of the giant, as I thought it's neck was too long. I removed most of it's neck, repositioned the head again. I am satisfied with it now.

This is Kleffa 'Un, the shaman lord, he is the general of the army. It's the body of Wurzag, the savage orc shaman. The sinister staff he's holding is the Skull wand of Kaloth! I replaced the tail end of the Wyvern, as I thought it looked a bit too comical, with the huge venom drops on it. I was going to give the shaman some sort of chain, to steer the wyvern, but I didn't know how to do that right. I imagine the shaman steering the wyvern mentally or something...
By the way, the painting on all these updates is not finished!

I've always thought the rocklobbers of Games Workshop were rather small, not in scale... I found some nice big ones in a toystore. I converted them, using drawings of stonethrowers I've found on the internet as a guidance. I added an extra axle with lots of rope and orkified it. In one picture you can see an original toystore stone thrower.
Also have lots of GW rocklobbers, and I intend to use them in other goblin armies. In 4th edition there were two types of rocklobbers, the orc & goblin player could choose from. A strong one (the current rock lobber) and a smaller one wich cost less points, did less damage and wich range wasn't as wide. I intend on using the GW rocklobbers as these smaller ones, and maybe take 2 for 1 special slot.![]()

And here is the goblin chariot, maxed out with 4 goblins and 3 wolves. The base under a chariot pulled by 3 wolves/steeds must be the biggest in Warhammer, almost 4" by 3"! Not bad for weedy goblins...
So now every model in the army is put together, I can clean up my workspace and get some painting done!

I think tomb kings has an option for a chariot that has 4 steeds... Now, that is huge.
But this is some fine paint work. Keep us updated.
Thanks Gekiganger for the tip on where to find Morglum's rules. I found them. They will need some tweeking, as I intend on him to be a REAL badass, considering he's going to have to be in charge of the 9 other warbosses in the army! But don't worry, I won't give him the statline of a bloodthirster...
Suggestions are welcome...
