Really astounding work on those Snotlings, very characterfull ... too bad that's only 360 points of (rather crappy) troops ...

BTW, nice trays, but did you know that all "Swarms" are now skirmishers in 8th ed (and the snots are classified as a swarm), meaning you should have 1/2 inch between each base ?

Thanks Lorcryst! I know these troops are not going to win me a battle, but that's not really important to me. They're part of the orc and goblin culture/race/world, part of the 'mini's left to paint pile' and are a challenge to paint. I totally forgot about the snotlings beeing swarms, thanks for making that clear. In that case, here is a new groupshot. And I can probably use the bases for squig herds... :-)

Heh, I know what you mean about their place in fluff and culture ... I have 8 bases of those to paint myself, even if they're lackluster in game term

And yes, of course, the trays are re-usable anywhere else, a couple of those will fit nicely for a Squig Herd (even if I deploy mine in Horde formation, but that's a topic for a Tactics thread).

Finished another one. The model almost tilted over. Because of this, I've added mushrooms made of wood and heavy glass and one metal one to the back of the base.
