I'd like to see this up there, especially with the new discussion on whether Vampires can become Daemon Princes. On the other hand, any such discussion always lures MvS from his den (constructed entirely from pages of original yet rejected background fluff) to wax lyrical on Liber Necris, so we might want to keep them going as a sort of bait.

How about my suggestion I made to you on the 'Longbeards' thread.

Q9 on the FAQ A more appropriate question today might be "Did the SOC actually happen?"

To which my stock answer is:

"SOC is not included in the timeline of the currrent BRB, nor the timeline of OnG, there is a strong possible reference in VC however the new Empire timeline states quite clearly that said invasion has not yet happened. So either the chaos invasion mentioned in the new VC fluff has been over-written or, somewhat less likely, the last 2 years of the VC timeline (princess and all) is now considered to be 'in the future'."

Regarding Q9, since you used a different question to the one I suggested above you probably need it to link a different thread. The 2 don't really match up.

Either that or simply tell people the answer...
