    HQ

    Librarian – Epistolary 181 pts
Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack, Familiar, Artificer Armour
    Might of Heroes

    Elites
Dreadnought – Lascannon, Missile Launcher – Tank Hunter 145 pts

    Troops
Tactical Squad – 10 men, Plasma Gun, Lascannon 175 pts

Tactical Squad – 10 men, Infiltrate, Counter Attack, True Grit, Heavy Bolter, Meltagun 225pts

Scouts – 5 men, Bolters, Heavy Bolter, Frag Grenades 75pts

    Fast Attack
Assault Squad – 6 men, melta bombs, 2 Plasma Pistols, Terminator Honours (Plasma Pistol, Power Fist) 179pts

Assault Squad – 5 men, Krak grenades, 2 Plasma Pistols 125pts

    Heavy Support
    Devastator Squad – 6 men, 2 Heavy Bolters, 2 Missile Launchers 160pts

Devastator Squad – 5 men, 2 Plasma Cannon, 2 Lascannon, Frag Grenades 235pts

Some of this army is dictated by figures - the Plasma Cannons for example - and I wanted to make sure I had a Librarian with them.

The plan is for the Librarian to join up with the bigger assault squad so they can benefit from Might of heroes.

A little suggestion: For the Assault marines - Melta Bombs or no bombs.

Your dread as tank hunter, but I thought you could only give a dread vet skills if it were venerable, meaning your dread is actually 165 points. If I'm wrong then I'll be changing my own list.

I disagree. I think Veil of time is a good power, but Might of heros + Vet Sergeant w/power fist is pretty handy. that guy can have 7 or 8 attacks on a good roll. Heck, that librarian with 7 or 8 attacks at I5 is also a pretty good combo.

RDdragon5 - You're right on the Dreadnought skill so I need to find a few more posts.

Nothing on the Familiar info to say anything about any restrictions.

And yes the plan is to use Might of Heroes with the Vet Sgt.

I would much rather give him an Iron Halo intead of the armour, an invulnerable save would be much handier than the 2+.

Tactical Squad – 10 men, Plasma Gun, Lascannon 175 pts
I never really take squads of ten marines like this. I always prefered 7 or 8 man squads and have found the saved points to be much more beneficial for other squads. Like giving the infiltrating marines a veteran with a power weapon or fist.

    Methinks you miscalculated here.....

Devastator Squad – 5 men, 2 Plasma Cannon, 2 Lascannon, Frag Grenades 235pts
Damn this is an expensive squad. You could find much better uses for the frag grenade points. Also adding marines from the tactical squads to the devastators would be a good idea because any casulaties will hurt alot.

    Yeah might change that.

Hate playing mini squads. I know it costs me tactically, but it wrankles to play the points rather than the game.

Yeah should be 194 - seem to have missed the power fist

The frag grenades were just there when I thought I had spare points.
