Having become subject to the whims of will, i've fallen in love with my old iron warrior army again, and although i was originally creatin a bloodpact army for apocolypse but its too large a project to manage, so i am allying them with my favourite legion. The Iron Warriors.

I've got a fair bit planned course, but thats for the future. here are some nice pictures:

Ok here is the baneblade updated, i think its about ready for the paint station myself, although some sanding is required first, a few gs touch ups, not much else...

Very nice, but the baneblade looks a bit too clean at the moment. Perhaps it will look a lot better when it's painted.

Coming along nicely, the last pic, amkes the paint look a little streaky.

Looks like you painted it all in one direction and it's a little noticeable in some areas.
But i do like the layered metal/rust effect., Look forward to seeing more

I'm definitley feeling the Baneblade. I'm picking up a 2nd Baneblade today to start working on my own IW baneblade (got one for guard already, probably going to get 2 more for them as well)

I like the Terminator too!

hmmm well i think he suits khorne axes better, besides, it doesn't say he does own some, does it?

storm of iron rocks though, so i'm build all three grand companies, or atleast elements of each.

I don't know if you're aware, but lopping the bunny ears of Berserker heads makes for absolutely ace Iron Warrior heads. I tried it out on one of my ToP long fangs. You can't really see it behind the lascannon, but it's marvelous.

i'd throught about it, but it's much easier for me to sculpt a load of "knight" masks onto standard SM helms.
