Incredible work as always! What is so stunning is that you maintain your fantastic brushwork on even the smallest of areas - even the little bits of metal underneath her 'bra' (if it really counts as that) have a better NMM gradient than most people can get on any other surface! An inspiration to us all

Superb model ! I like the way she's kind of "crowded", I mean there's a lot going on on the model, between the armour and the hair

    Hi all,

here a picture of the finished Death Hag.
Unfortunatly the girl wasn´t able to win a golden demon trophy last weekend at the Games Day Germany in cologne. Instead my Menghil unit won gold in Warhammer Fantasy unit. However I really like how the death hag turned out at the end and perhaps she will win something at an other contest. The GD Germany this year was one of the toughest Golden Demon competitions I visited in my 11 years lasting career as a competition painter.... but I enjoyed the challenge and will try to become better to compete with these crazy painters again next year

    Kind Regards

I can't even fathom what you were up against if this beauty didn't win it for you. Congratulations on your unit win, and I hope this model sees some much deserved success in other competitions.

Really stunning work. Congrats on the gold for the unit. France and Germany seem to always have the stiffest GD competition. As much as I'd like to support team USA, Chicago and LA have a generally lower level of competition IMO.

    Re: Diary of a workbench

I just wanted to tell you how I have been a warseer member for many years, and while my time and ability to read and contribute to this site waxes and wanes it is in fact the greatest collection of modellers and gamers on the net in my opinion. Even when I have absolutely no time for painting I am able to find a moment to check in once and a while and view amazing artists such as your self to help keep the flame alive. I have followed your work for as long as I can remember and always inspect your photos to see every detail. Your work is astounding and takes my breath away. I hope you realize what an inspiration your work is to me, and hopefully others. Your work always seems to be unreal for the scale and speaks of your mastery of painting techniques, I hope to one day achieve a fraction of the quality these figures have, and will always make the time to read your log.

    Faithful reader, Tony

another faithful reader who delights in seeing his work and takes a lot of inspiration when it comes to model and paint work, follow him almost from the beginning of his journal, and I think a fantastic painter, Dark Elf pity that did not win nothing in the GD of Germany, but his gold Mengil is more than deserved, you have a great future in his hands, I hope to see more amazing work with those who take delight and inspiration in my future projects, a big salute to another faithful reader.

PS: I know you said something about that witch only two miniatures were made, there would be the possibility that in the not too distant future, we could get hold of a copy of this work of art? thanks again
