Wow, it's great to see you back SQ. Good to hear about the twins; but from what I've heard I anticipate many sleepless nights in the future.
I'm not sure I can make it into For The Lesser Evil as I don't really have time to write a new character and none of my standbys really fit, but I'm sure we'd all appreciate your skill in Into The Breach if you have time.

On another line of thought, would anyone be interested in the following RPG idea?
Set in the far future, where man has spread to the stars. However his empire is being mercilessly attacked by an invading alien force. One last mission, a suicide run, is planned to defeat the invaders once and for all.
The goal is to create a very narrative RPG, telling alot of seperate stories in a wider war. It will also encourage me to keep writing background for another long term project, so its two birds with one stone.

Just did a bit of searching, and a few things happened on march 29th at various points in history, and I doubt your celebrating a mad newyork bomber or the German Army re-occuyping the rhineland.. So what is the big occasion?

As for the game. . yes and no. The universe owes as much to Mass Effect as it does Halo, the Forever war by Joe Haldeman and Schlock Mercenary.

Once again, I'm falling behind with my Steampunk RPG. I keep getting side tracked while working the actual details I want ironed out in the sense of delving off into little side things that won't matter fully to players, but for creation of background appears to be important.
The Ulkoren empire itself is becoming a feat because I actually went back created a rough timeline of their development, their motivations, etc. Its fascinating designing my own personal race that relies on impressions of 'Lizzardmen' I have from Warhammer/Elder Scrolls mixed with Dragons (mostly Western versions, but some Chinese mythos as well) and Elves.
Hopefully by the time I have the source thread created, it will be a real experience. The plotline itself is becoming its own animal and seems to be constantly there at the forefront of my design phase.

Just putting the idea out there and wondering if anyone would be interested in a Song of Ice and Fire RP.
It wouldn’t be for a few weeks, more than likely an August start but I thought I’d put the message out now to save on doing any work only to find no one is up for playing.
Got a few ideas floating around but it’s very much up in the air at the moment. Thinking of settings the RP around the events of either the Blackfrye rebellion, Robert’s rebellion or the Greyjoy Rebellion.
Anybody interested?

Luthor's Shadow, your Alchemist Elf is still welcomed once I complete the rest of the background. Finally made peace with the Ulkoren and I am now shaping their Fiefdom after extensively delving into their religion and views on technology.
The Dwarves stole blackpowdger and how to make it from the Ulkoren and already there seems to be conflict resting within the background. A world that does not see eye to eye with each other, a growing conflict upon a country that is considered 'wild' because its Government consists of various races and a Merchant Guild seeking its rise to power through various means.
The plot is there to be exploited and thoroughly thought out, but I want players to truly know my background. I can not wait to release a Source thread dedicated to my background and launch the RPG from it. It will happen, just need to keep up the work.

Almost done with my start up material for my next RP and Gibbous is nearing its final phases. My only WORRY though, and this goes for other games as well, is the relatively slow posting or lack of posting from numerous members. Has anyone else noticed this?
i've noticed it being a little slow, but i've only been back on the RP circuit for a couple weeks, so that might be an incorrect opinion
