Well my first thread in the painting section and its not even my own work, shame on me
Anyways before some people will start yelling at me for some reason, hear out my long story cut short:

after a 2,5 year hiatus of annything GW releated, i got sucked back into the hobby due to the new eldar back in somewhere 2006....but Tzeenth had diffrent plans with me as FW released around that time their new Death Korp of Krieg line.
So the redo of my eldar went back in the freezer and i started buying month by month an army of krieg with my poor salary of a history student.
Summer 2007 im for holidays back in the homeland, and my army is bought and waiting for my paintjob as i leave some death riders in the hands of Microartstudio for conversion work for a death rider command squad....and then Tzeenth kicks in again
Microartstudio stunned by the work of FW talk me in to paint my army for me....a couple of hours of thinking and i hand in my painting soul to microartstudio.
Why? because after the summer i wouldnt have time to paint as i was changing my study to psychology but i didnt get drawn and thus i decided to work for a year long as i needed money (blowing up your pc is expensive).
Not having time but having loads of money made my decision easier and i dont regret it as its means that ill get faster to playing 40k once more.

well i guess the most people have fallen asleep by now so lets get to the project ahead:

well atm i just dont have anytime at all....i work as a slave as in work, sleep, work, sleep etc etc

Project 3 around april 2008 will be the eldar popsickles from the freezer or something big as in a chapel on tracks or some Knight Titans...

but for now i just dont have any sparetime and i dont mind much that microartstudio is painting, its good work and it will be ready for the first tourny in my area..

when i went on my hiatus i was bussy with finishing 500pts of gondor and a scion of mars iron hand band of bikers.....in the end i never played much during my hobby days and i want to enjoy some playing and tournies for the next year....

and trust me after painting 3000pts of WHFB goblins, you dont want to paint any green ever!

as for pictures for those armies ill upload them sometime when i can be bothered with buying a camera

I love your DKK, it's painted to a very nice, realistic historicals standard instead of the normal table-top mile away look.

But I'm still trying to figure out why they put recoil rams on mortars.

soon they will be the centerpiece of the army all 20 of them.....and more when FW decides to make diffrent stands like advancing for the deathriders

Many days *coughs* weeks *coughs* i think its more like a few months have passed.....and this log ended up in some mud.....so its time for the first rhino to move this thread out of the mud!

I think that ill be able to post over the next 2....hopefully not 3 months....some progress of both projects.....The DKoK army is still on a slow mule to the finish line....while the sisters will end up 1st place with a racing horse called Ferrari....

those guys over at MAS do some wicked good stuff. The krieg are awesome, its refreshing seeing Krieg painted in a new and different color scheme.

Work is going slow sadly....and much of the DKoK stuff has yet to be done....and all of the stuff that was done is getting redone sadly

So instead another update for my SoB army.....here is a test conversion for my arcos, done by Hortwerth, so enjoy:

well that one model was the test model....when the painter of MAS started to work on the rest....all went downhill, the pictures don't show it much, but when I inspected the final product...I wasn't pleased at all....I'm a patient person luckily, so i don't mind that the DKoK project ended up in a fiasco and that it will be repainted and finished in a short time....I think MAS has learned also from the DKoK fiasco....but it will be now on the right tracks by the Painter who also is painting my SoB atm....so the only loss is Time in the end for me....

I love those Death riders! That big gs standard is going to be incredible when it is painted up. Of course I would worry about how fragile its attachment to the lance is but it could be more solid than it looks. The sisters look nice as well. I can't wait to see the whole army together!
