That is a fun conversion of Celestine. The Deathkorps reaching imploringly to her is perfect, a good use of the bonus model from the quartermaster set. Can't wait to see some paint on them.

ill try to do it when I get a proper camera as the models are allready with me and have tried to get some close ups with a phone camera (they are on page 2) but they are rather dark and poor lighted...

I have been putting off doing my seraphims, because I was not sure how to do them.
After seeing the ones here, I know I want them to look the same.

Im going to apologise first of all, please remember that although i will criticise, i know you and the whole studio have incredible talent which far outstrips mine.

On that note, as a Death Korps player i have to say i dont like your scheme.

The Gas Masks are too red, too different and vibrant compared to the rest of the mini (which have a similar colour scheme to mine, incidentally).

I paint my gas masks using Graveyard earth (or its Foundation paint equivilent which name escapes me) and then painting horizontal lines of bleached bone across it. This fits in well with the Green colour while adding a 'skull like' colour to the face, which looks very ominous on the field.

Very well done, though. If you made that one change to your Krieg they would look totally stunning!

about the gas masks...yeah I found em too red aswell for my taste....first colour scheme:



so we went lighter:



The reasoning behind the colour of the gas mask is that these ones are made out of leather...thus a fine dark colour...the first painter went for a more historical look then the second painter whose repainting them....the second painter also did my Inquistorial stormtroopers thus you can see his style compared to the first painter and the first picture above....

on another note....I'm a person who enjoys lots of diffrent colours and contrast on a model....I want for the model to stand out....but then again Octavius_Maximus each his own taste ....

I'm glad to have inspired you for your seraphim Tommygun....my own inspiration came from UK WD 293 where Joe Sturge uses necromunda spryer wings for his seraphim.....but then GW stopped selling spryers at all!....and thus I asked Hortwerth to make some mechanical wings (I think he had that idea also in his mind for some time, don't know)....
I think i have to thank GW for not letting me buy the spryer wings and instead get these gorgeous MAS mechanical wings...

Whats coming up soon? Pictures of the painted Canoness and the Seraphim....sadly the DKoK painter is on a holiday, so no updates for them atm...we have still a priest conversion up, Inquisitor and rest of his retinu....and maybe ill start painting myself once more a new marine force of red scorpions when I get the vraks part 2 in my mail....and offcourse I have to buy a good camera...

Th painting praise for the arcos, seraphim and canoness goes to Hortwerth....allthough the overall ideas are all mine....if I had an infinite amount of money......I could easily supply MAS with interesting stuff for an infinite time.....I love to come up with things...the painting itself is a drag for me
