I love seeing troll ass. It's going to be my favorite part to pant.
The trolls look great so far, I'm looking forward to the finished result.

One finished River Troll served!
It was really hard getting good pics of this one.. But i hope you like it anyways! Camera makes all kinds of strange things with the colors and brightness. It really looks alot better in real life.. grrrr, my mediocre cameraskillz.. i damn you!
I had lot of fun painting this one but also lots of struggle on what colors and how to paint the fish. I think the fish changed color and style around 3-4 times. After some experimenting i came to the conclusion of a redish fish in contrast to the green troll.

Wow
Beautiful colours, superb painting skills. I wish I had the talent You got![]()
The troll looks a little cartoony for me, but I love how you've painted him, and your skills are superb.
That fish is really cool, I think the best part about it are the little dots in the middle of its face, they really help it to stand out against the green of the troll.
Have you thought about what their names will be? (I'm still hoping for Abath, Demonaz, and Horgh)

Amazing work! Looks very slimy and filthy... like it came straigth out of a swamp. It's bright colours remind me of very poisonous froggs that live there as well!
Troll looks beautiful (as a stinky troll would be). The little cartoonish style really suits the model and the pose, all in all one of my favourites among he trolls I've seen painted.
The base is also an interesting piece, did you use a "water effect" resin to get that result? If so, I'd like to know how you managed to match so well the shape of the plastic base, giving the resin the correct angle. I'm guessing you used some sort of framework, but it would be interesting to see how you proceeded.

Thanks guys!
And yes i made it pretty cartoony but its a bit blown up on these pictures since the lamp brightens up all the colors more than in a room or daylight, especially when i take pics. I want to keep my O&G in a mix between cartoon and grime and WoC are more about the grime and realism, if you can call it that when talking about realm of chaos hehe..
The base is actually made with DAS (white, finer grain) for the stones and water is grey stuff that i sculpted into shapes. Then painted up and two layers of glossy varnish. I tried that watereffect on some stuff before but i suspect it was old or something because it went milky white and didnt stick to the surface.. Instead it kinda bended upwards and cracked up in lots of small cracks.. Very dissapointing i can tell you. Since then i sculp my water hehe.. But I will try again later sometime.
The trolls do not have any names yet, not sure if they will get any either but time will tell. Must see what they do in battle first perhapsPuke, Stinky and Smelly springs to mind.. hehe

Have any plans for the new Boar Boyz kit?
I love the color palate for the River Troll you chose. Bright almost to the point of garish, but not so far that it seems cartoony. The flood of failed attempts to do this elsewhere on the internet shows that you have incredible talent and an eye for color to pull it off this well.
-trying desperately to not make a swamp ass joke-
Great looking river troll! I especially like how you painted the fish in the trolls hand.![]()
