I'm thinking about it.
I've just started on a third Leman Russ, maybe after that. . .

Inspiring!
My General Project Log
It occasionally gets updated
After a bit of beer fuelled, late night ebaying I awoke to find that I was the owner of another BNIB Baneblade (lucky for me it was only £40).
I managed to get the bloke who sold me the turret conversion kit I used on the first one, to cast me up another. This is it so far, lots to add, cam nets/ stowage etc and lots to paint:

Your weathering skills are very good indeed, do you use reference photos?
Great conversion work as well!

Very nice, very nice indeed.
As usual, Ash's Guard is a thing of beauty. Big, loud beauty. It's a rather awesome Baneblade you seem to have acquired, although the bottom of the right sponsoon is loose. Also, I can't quite tell what that thing resting on top of the co-axial autocannon is.
You really do have a talent for shameless plugs, don't you? This is the third one I've seen today.

Thanks all. This one will be a bit of a slow burn with regard to painting. I'll post more pix once I get the basic camo pattern sprayed up. The sponsons are just held on with friction at present, hence the falling apart look, they wont get the glue until most of the painting is done. The bits attached to the main cannon are a launch rail for a 'Hunter-killer' and a smoke launcher, made up of a spare part from a FW mine plow and some brass wire.

Got it primed and base coated:
Might chuck more green at the front end.

More green i think is needed, link up that patch in the centre under the hull mounted cannon with the patch on the right track guard, either that or spread the green out a bit more on the right track guard.
Looking forward to more though matey, where did you get the bits from to add to the model? (sorry if you have already said, i couldnt see)![]()
Very nice Baneblade thread, really really like your work. At intervals why not put up some of your other work if you have any, At this quality i would like to see what else you have.
Looking for a gaming group to join...

@ BP marine: extra green has been chucked, a fair amount of cam netting will be added which will hopefully cover any annoying areas.
I have about a dozen other IG armoured vehicles, all in a similar camo pattern, apart from this Russ which ended up green as I couldn't get hold of the sand coloured paint:

Lovely stuff mate. Very realistic, well as realistic as a super heavy sci fi tank can be
1 question, wheere did you get the textured plastic card from ? it looks really good on the models.
Nice one Ash, camo netting always looks good on vehicles, all yours look ace so far.
Looking forward to more.![]()
@ DaHedd: Cheers for the comments, the textured plastic card came from '4D modelshop'
