I love those Scouts. Personally I'd use them as junior officers or even veteran sergeants in a Guard army.

The Mechanicus stuff looks interesting, and the tutorial on camo netting's brilliant, thanks1

Here's something else to add to the list of unfinished items, I suppose this would count as an Atlas.

I can't stop staring at the glass on the baneblade spotlights. I mean that is just beautiful, it seems strange to make suh a big deal about them but they just look so good.

Very nice painting, love the earthen tones of the colours.
What colour are you using on th fatigues of the old-skool scouts and the sash of the =I= Crusaders?

Really fantastic weathering on all your vehicles Ash.
I also like the camo nets. That's something I need to learn how to do.

    @ Nacartra : It's a 1:35 scale LAV

    http://www.ask-models.com/shop/trump.../prod_825.html

@ dood515 : Cheers, glad you like them .I finished them off with a couple of coats of Tamiya X-25 Clear Green. It dries fairly high gloss so gives a glass like reflection.

@ Dr Drake : The colour on the Crusaders so far is just a base coat of Vallejo Khaki Grey.

@ Tommygun : Thanks a lot. Go for it with the netting it's easy to do and great for hiding joins etc.

Here's the latest tank, the track sections are from an eBay rescue. That's as much paint as I could strip without using a blow torch!
Still a long way to go

Update on the Long gun tank, stuck more bits to it. Added a flag to the aerial which I'm not sure about so it may go. Needs some grab handles and will get some netting later.

It was a limited edition figure made by 'The Dark Sarge' at the Ammobunker.

Hello. Between your and Bungaroo's tutorials I should end up with a half decent Baneblade. I was going to ask for the bloke who made the turret expansion kit, but after a little ferreting about I found it.

So what I will say instead is thanks for the inspiration!

Been a while since I've had the chance to paint anything. Redecorating has taken priority!

I've finally sprayed up a base coat on the Vanquisher and the LAV engineer vehicle.

Lovely little IFV, what was the base model? And what scale?

I saw something very similar today (stryker ICV, 1/72 scale IIRC) and nearly picked a few up.

    That LAV is really cool.
I may be forced into copying it.
I have a few Old Crow models that could be work into something similar.

Also got a few more bits for my Mechanicus unit. Another old model and a couple of tracked servitors based on Micro Art's Iron Brotherhood.

Not sure about the HB on the last one, especially as I just realised I was going to stick it on the LAV!

no point saying those tanks are awesome cos you've been told countless times. nice to see some mechanicus too, especially the older models.
