Nice, great job on the beastmen skulls, very cool.
Nice, great job on the beastmen skulls, very cool.
looking good, I love your beastmen, very natural looking - for nasty warp twisted beasties of course![]()
Borsil, E-Dog, thanks. :-)
Alex Under, you don't have to wait anymore, it's finished. I don't know about marks yet, I haven't played enough to decide fully. But I think that I can use most of my minis as both undivided, khorne or Tzeentch without too much of a stretch. ;-) There's something good in having a unique colour scheme and symbols. :-D
Thanks banehorn. :-)
As I said I finished painting the herdstone. It was quite fast to do, and it was very fun! A lot of broad sloppy dry brushing, and then some fiddly bits in the middle.
BTW, I just finished it, so I'll remove some of the excess static grass when the glue's dried.![]()

Looking nice, it is good to see themed terrain pieces with an armie.
Look their, a bird.
@mrtn - It's a 'Pink Floyd' Album called 'Animals' - famous for it's front cover of a giant pig flying over Battersea power station in London..
But great army, love the colour scheme you have gone for, makes a refreshing change from the brown beatsmen we see everywhere... And loving the Stone as well, great job!
OK here you are.
Love the first photo. How cool is that. I must learn how to do something like that for when my armies are finished.
Great looking army BTW. You can't beat a strong, tight theme for impact.
That skellie is my favorite citadel undead mini. Have you also got the mounted guy that was part of that set?
Very cool mini! It is what the whole range should look like. They never had enough clothes on IMO.
But my favorite is the Herd stone. I am seriously inspired to go and do one myself.
Where/what is the dino I mean dragon skeleton from?

Hm, I've had that Pink Floyd album for ten years, seems I don't listen to the lyrics enough (which isn't surprising really, as it's sung in foreign).
Harry, I have the mounted guy too, somewhere. It's badly painted by my younger self. I like the models very much, apart from the arms that are very strangely sculpted. I agree about the clothes, ban nudity!
The dino is from a "buy strange stuff very cheap" store, it cost 10 crowns IIRC, less than a £. "Be like dinosaur"-kit.![]()

Good job on the herdstone that will look great on the table.
Wow! Great herdstone! I liked it when you were still working on it, but now that it's painted it's superb!
I'm jealous. Now I want to make themed terrain too!

That's one of the best herdstones I've ever seen. Your tribe should be proud ^^
Wow Nice bit of Terrain.
I was considering adding some dino bones in my Lizardman terrain ...
now you realy have me inspired by how good yours turned out![]()
E-Dog, ZeroTwentyThree, Anardakil and N810, thanks. For those of you that expressed a wish to make your own themed terrain I can just say go for it. This was a quite fast and easy project, and I'm very pleased with the result.
Here's a g-string mino (sold by Ral Partha Europe):
I'm also working on chaos knights, these are (probably) finished, apart from the shields:
In other news I bought a couple of new brushes today, I hope one of them will be a good replacement for the very good one I bought in a store that closed a year ago... Upcoming minis may include minotaurs, knights (including a OOP one) those dwarves and cultists. Maybe.

Nice stuff
I think the yellow on the knights could use another highlight but otherwise I like them ^^
Yes that was a shot with flash, winter in Sweden tends to do that to minis.
I hope those shots are closer to reality, if nothing else they show that I finished the shield. ;-)
In the last shot you see the evil yellow eye of the steed.
Thanks for your replies!

Nice, can we get a shot of the whole unit.
Your herdstone is awesome it really fits your theme well.
Love the herdstone!!!!!
I just cant paint rocks by looking at that! any chance of a run down on the colours you have used on the stone?
love the whole army too! very nice colour scheme.
I love the nailed-on hands.
I think the yellow looks good, it goes with the beasties and the colors of the savanna.
