Nah, something close to Brunte I think. Bruntax maybe?

I just finished some Pestigors, I just need to give them static grass and wait for the sun to return in March (or maybe don't give a damn, and take pictures without sunlight). They're weird models, partly great, partly quite bad.

Another converted standard bearer, and some Pestigors.

BTW, these photos were taken in a south facing window in the middle of the day. I had to use a lamp...

That you did. When was the last time you posted an army shot? Could be time for another.

That last batch are great. I reckon your best painted yet? And, mdiscala is right, don't wait til March, go on an all out lamp-using frenzy and lets see an army shot!

    Thank you.

Here are some armyshots. The whole painted army is about 3300 points, without upgrades.

Not the best photos by any means, but then it's snowing outside.

    Nice!

Just 3300? Looks bigger. But I can clearly see that you need more chariots! ;-)

I feel like taking an army-shot myself...

Awesome army, looking good with all the infantry. But perhaps a giant or one of the other big nasty guys to give the army some height?

Have you got any photo of your winged beast?
    The beastmen one.

Remember, it's 3300 without character upgrades, that's another 3-400 in toys and magic levels.
Haven't really had much luck with chariots, so the one I've still got unbuilt isn't a big priority ATM.

Thanks, and of course you should take an armyshot.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, one or two big beasties would be cool, but with my current financial situation (unemployed) I try to limit my spending, and focus on painting up models I already have. That's still some 40 or so models for this army, counting the 16 6th ed bloodletters that are in the post thanks to a trade with logan054.

Here. It's a model converted and painted by the former owner of my Death Guard army, I don't know where the original is from.

I finally thought I should jump on the harpy bandwagon. I bought the wings from Reaper some years ago, with the thought of making chaos furies, but those were removed from the army before I got around to it.

As you can probably guess I spent a bit of time getting them to rank up.

Nice! I got around to finishing mine on sunday - I'm only mentioning it because ironically I ended up using rebased furies as harpies.

I've seen several succesful ungor/harpy breeds and I really like yours, the poses are very nice. Ranking them up must have been a real hassle...

Those army shots are very, very impressive! Looking awesome! Also like the Harpies. Nice work.

That army shot looks mighty impressive mrtn! It seems you never lose inspiration to churn out some nicely painted beastmen. Is there any amount of models/points you've set for yourself as a goal?

Thank you, yeah, it took some time to rank them up, and it looks hard to get a second rank in without trouble.

Thank you! I'm in a beastmen phase, but I suppose I'll get inspired to work on something else in a while. I don't have a set goal, I find that goals and deadlines are detrimental to my painting (the reason I'm not in the TOFP), it's better for me to concentrate on the handful of models I'm painting now, and ignore all the unpainted ones.
But I'd like to be able to field a second unit of bestigors in the future, with the deal I recently made with logan054 I've got some 6th ed bloodletters to convert into bestigors, so that should make it possible. I'm also getting more gors, both old 5th ed ones and new 7th ed ones (I'm waiting for my first box of those from Maelstrom). I really like that 8th ed has made a proper infantry army viable, it looks like a real army now, and not just a monster picnic.

ATM I'm painting some 5th ed gors (converted to AHW), a 5th ed "beastman champion" and a 1985ish Uruk Hai, which is painted to fit in with my bestigors.

Your army is a great sight. You can be proud of yourself.

Looking forward to see you getting these Harpies painted (and how you get them to stay ranked up like that )
