I already have four armies, I suppose they could defend it from each other? Thanks.

Had a productive day today, finished the latest batch of minis, two gors, two bestigors and a converted Khazrak the One-Eye.

Funny, now that I see those bloodletters, years later, they look much more suitable for a beastmen army! Great job!

Using Bloodletters as Bestigors is just brilliant! With your paint scheme they look quite at home between the other Beastmen!

The idea of casting your own thigh armour is very good, it looks very good and helps to give the model a less daemonic look!
Check out my Mordheim scenery! NOW! I mean... Please... Only if you want to of course...

Thanks. I have done some converting of them though, mainly cutting off the random spikes they have on arms and legs.

I painted up some plague marines for a team game I played today (we won, btw ), and have started a new army diary for them, take a look in the last link in my signature if you're interested.

Good to see that you finally got to paint up some of the new gors. Keep up the good work. One Love

Nice stuff again! Cool to see you having painted the bloodletters and it's nice to see Khazrak. Is that the current model for him? (I only remember the first one and I think I remember they changed the head but then I can't imagine that giant head wasn't sculpted onto the mini back then)

Thanks mate. This is the old model, the new one is the same, with a changed head and whip-hand. However I converted it with a head from the new gor box, some beastmen horns and the silly double-horse-nose horns from the WoC knight box. The reason why I converted the head can presumably be seen here:

His head is taller than his whole body! And he's got an ugly horse face as well.

When Beasts of Chaos came out, Khazrak got a new whip and a new head, and lost his dog, Red-Maw.

This model is the old Khazrak(the old whip) with a new plastic head. Im guessing it is from the Gor box, with bestigor horns.

EDIT: mrtn beat me to it... Great conversion, by the way!!!
I still have that model, been thinking of what to do with it.

That castle is great! It must be a ton of fun to play a siege on it :-).

    @Gandalf the Gay: Thank you.

@Mercutius: I certainly hope so, I haven't used it yet.

I was talking with my friends and got inspired to start a Carnival of Chaos warband for Mordheim. I'll use models from my Nurgling army, and add these three; the Heroquest zombie will be a Tainted One, and the other two are Brethren. Thanks to Harry for getting me to cut down the base.

Apologies for the poor photo, I blame Father Frost.

+10 for Heroquest model usage. You've really been improving your modeling game recently, good work.

Re: mrtn's Southlands Beastmen, Warriors of Chaos, Skaven and even more!

Thanks for clearing that up. I remembered old Khazrak's head so I was surprised. He was a mighty cool special character back in Realms of Chaos (I collected beastmen back then) but the model's head really was a bit weird (especially the pose) and his hound looked off as well. It was a cool concept for a character to have his hound with him though.

Looking very much forward to seeing how your Carnival comes along. Looking good already.

I have his hound (Redmaw) as well, but I don't know what to do with it, since I haven't found a use for chaos hounds in 8th yet. I rather spend the points on more beastmen.

You've seen most of the carnival already, as part of the nurgling army. Out of ten models these three were the only ones I needed to make for my starting warband.

I've updated my plague marine army diary today again.

Hey. I think that that carnival may become my favourite part of this log already.
I'm really looking forward to seeing them painted. The Plague Monk torso works surprisingly well.

Not only the modeling, looking back on the first few pages of this log, you're painting has improved quite a bit too.

And man Khazrak has a huge head, maybe you can use that thing on a minotaur, size-wise it should fit.

Thanks Breazer. I have about 3700 points of painted Beastmen, not counting extra magic levels and toys.

    And the whole team:

I'll play my first game with them tomorrow, we'll see how they perform.

Otherwise I'm mostly concentrating on my plague marines, have finished a bunch, and converted some more since last I posted in this thread.
