I'm a real beginner in painting, so I don't have much to show you. But you can have a look of my very first termagaunts in the previous page, but they are not very good. This tervigon is my real first big project.

Fantastic work, C.L.! Did you ever figure out what washes to use on the skin? Because that think is fantastic. I'd totally let that eat my guardsmen!

For me, I airbrushed and applied camo to my Sentinels, then got everything dry brushed about two weeks ago. Started putting down the metal, but I just can't touch them any more right now.

So, this past weekend I picked out 5 half-unfinished marines to repurpose and improve upon instead. No pics, but they're looking better. Even though the meltagunner doesn't deserve it based upon his previous battle.
I also, airbrushed on the main color on a Vindicator, and horribly primed a pair of attack bikes.

...and I'm totally buying the Storm Talon this weekend. I may even start painting it before the glue is even dry! Madness!

Thanks. Finally, no wash on the skin but I changed of technique. I make a basecoat of white skull manually, then a thin coat of Ushabti Bone and to finish a thin coat of 4:1 White Skull:Ushabti Bone not everywhere (85-90% I would say) to make some contrast.

It´s been a while since I´ve posted but still been painting. My Nobz are now finished, so is my warboss. Also finished my Chaos Deamon Prince and Chaos Space Marines.
Still to go: 2 Trukks, 3 Kopters, Chaos Terminators and Possesed Marines.

Question: What with this new allies rule, I´m thinking of a traitor IG set. Which colours would be best?
I was thinking of something along the Emperors Children colours I have, but the couple that I have done look a bit childish(I´ll try and post pictures later). In fairness I did them quite fast and they are the snap together Candians, yet still...
Any ideas?

Thanks for the comment.

I would aim for tan or brown for your uniforms rather than copy the Emperor's Children colours...Traitor Guard figures are usually very grubby and not supplied very well according to the background. I would us Emperor's Children colours on any Icon bearers (Platoon or Company Standards - you can just use them as regular Guardsmen in your command squads or sections with no need to buy the banners from the list). Wherever you have Imperial Eagle icons on your Traitor Guard I would file it off (messily) and once painted daub some Emperor's Children colours overtop, as if someone has hastily splashed paint on the blank space. Perhaps a back-banner with some Emperor's Children colours on your Sergeants. That way they tie in with your army, while looking distinct.
