Ok quick update. Just before heading of to Gamesday on Saturday I worked on the Carnifexs over the course of the day.




Just before I left for the train I ended up with the following creations

So yesterday box two of three arrived. Well actually its box 3 and 4 of the 5 I am now expecting. (Carnifex included for size comparison)




What's in it I hear you ask. Well behold! New Tyranid to beef up my growing horde. One of the main additions is 5 more Raveners taking my total to 10. Hmmm 10 Raveners... Isn't there a Apocalypse data sheet that need at least 10 Raveners..... Ah yes there is.. but I need something else... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm




Its ironic that one of the key bits that has arrived is the can of Chaos spray to help me continue the war on painting.

The swarm is evolving people. The fifth box has arrived. And this was the one I was waiting for, This ones come from Forge World


I've had a Trygon,



Scythed Hierodule,



and more Spore Mines delivered. Although I've only had one of two bags delivered. So I've got to call and get them sent!



On first glance the moulding etc looks fine. The only issue I have seen so far is that one of the Hierodule's Scythes appears to be bent. Bit of hot water should sort that.

looking good. One thing though, I totally agree that nid warriors are the best plastic kit GW has done, I field the max allowed in my army (i dont care if people reckon they arent the best rulewise!)...

So wheres the rest of yours? At the moment you seem to have more carnifexes than warriors.

My next major purchase (Roll on November birthday day and Xmas) will be hordes on Warriors

I can't remember if they are or not (don't ave my copy of IA:4 on me) but they are impressive and I like the way he's done his here but I meant add a mighty HIEROPHANT!!!! Because that is one hell of an impressive model!
