    Tim's big painting log

    Hey everyone,

I'm gonna give my log a new start. Not really good at the whole internet thing, so please go easy on me. I'll be featuring some different stuff. Mainly 40k and fantasy, but maybe some terrain and Space Hulk as well. c&c always welcome

first a showcase to see where I stand now. I deleted the older crappy pictures and posts. Up to a new start.

After that I'll randomly add more units.

    cheers
    Tim

    Re: Tim's big painting log

I still have trouble making decent pictures, I had never thought it would be that difficult. So first up will be my Orc's and goblins, vampire counts and Space ork armies.
let me try to post an image, too see how that works again

    SUCCES!!
I figured out how to do the image thing again. These are some snap shots of my orc and goblin army. It is mostly a revamp of my very old orc army and some new units. I keep adding new units from time to time. More on that later

So I thought why wait untill morning? These Bad Moon space orks are sort of a side project at the moment. Although i do feel the urge to paint some more of these.

Next up will be Vampire Counts. After that probably Witch hunter, Death Guard and last Chaos Renegades.

It's just to see how far i stand with my projects. After that I'll randomly paint and add new stuff. Mostly to clean out the closset.

    Cheers

    hey everyone,

I thought that before going to the christmas drink at work I could post some pics from my Witch Hunter army. I've been working on it for some time. Every year I add some units. Hence the difference in paint jobs. Latest additions are Saint Celestine and the Grey Knights.

Next up will be another chimera to transport those arbiters. But more on that later. Here are the snap shots:

    Re: Tim's big painting log

Before going to bed I thought I might post a few pics of my VC army. As you can see I am a sucker for GW's red period. You can find that color on every model I paint. The VC are more of a side project. Currently I am building some zombies. Some pics of those soon.

Only the banners could use some more work. In time I'll try to freehand something.

    Have a nice evening!
    cheers

okay, so there are more then 500 views of this thread and nobody can give me an answer to my question? It would be very helpful, as this thread clearly has a place in the random section.

Ok, we left him dangling long enough

Request at the mods. Simply pm one of them. You could do this via the helpdesk, which shows at the bottom of the main page, if you are logged in.

Nice collection, btw. I like the orcs a lot. Very classic take on them, which is always good if you ask me. And the undead are cool too!

Maybe you could make some more shots of single minis or units?

    Cheers

    Re: Tim's big painting log

Thanks very much Bart, I'll be sending the pm right away.

The orcs are a favorite of mine too, I'll see if I have some time next week for some more individual shots.

For now some pictures of my Death Guard. I have always used a lot of daemons in my DG. Now I use them occasionaly as lesser daemons, but also as a pure daemon army as well.

    some of the elite choices

    Nurgle marines

    heavy suppport

    the great unclean one

    the finished dread

    Re: Tim's big painting log

    some rhinos

    dreadnought number two

    daemon prince

    wip sorceror

    and my new toy

A lot of stuff in this army was painted years ago. My favorite is the great unclean one. I found it in a bit box with the arms missing. The sword is of an old daemon prince and the arm and tongue were my first attempt at sculpting.

The arm and tongue were later found and I used those bits on the dreadnoughts.

Have a nice evening and untill next week!
    cheers

    Hey everyone,

just thought I should post some pictures of my renegade guard army. It is a project I just started recenty. Really easy color scheme, again I use a lot of red in the models.

It just strikes me as a aggresive color. Detail and squad markings will be added when I know how i will use this army. I want to paint some more before deciding.

    army shot:

    psykers:

    Priests:

    command:

    command 2:

    Re: Tim's big painting log

    Morning everyone,

these are the pictures of the finished orc big un's. These are the first ten of what will probably be a unit of 25.

The next thing I will be working on will be some more renegades.

    have a nice weekend!

Ow lovely stuff! I like the orcs & goblins and the nurgle the most (got those armies myself)! Your figures look really colourful and would look really good on the tabletop I think!

Where do you live exactly? We play in Kontich (Antwerp) mostly.

    Re: Tim's big painting log

Thanks for the compliments. There are a few things I would like to improve in the future. Most importantly I need to put some more work in my basing. It is still very basic.

And i also hope to make some more conversions in the future. Most of the stuff is straight out of the box combined with some bits.

Shadowhunt3r, sorry but I forgot to change something. I recenty moved back to Tilburg after finishing uni in antwerp. I used to live in the Nationalestraat for a couple of years.

Although I would love to move back in the future.
I do come to Antwerp once in a while to visit friends and go out for a beer. Where do you play? In the store or in 'de'n outpost'?

Have a nice new years eve everyone. Keep your fingers safe!!
Next update will be soon. Renegade squad almost finished, after that I'll paint some marauder horseman for a new project.
    Cheers
    Tim
