Now that pic just blows the coolness meter!!!!! Too bad about the other pics.

Glad you like it.
No damage was done by the superphoney imagehosting site going down. I got backups of all pictures and only hosted less important pictures on there. And you can still have a look at all the other army shots via the link I posted.
Great looking last stand, but where is the much cooler evil enemy?![]()
@mrtn: Cheers. Latest picture of the titan are up on Tale of Painters now.![]()

i am looking forward to an army picture so i can save it...print it and hang it above my bed!
Those fists look great altogether defending their world![]()
@-BoBo-: Thanks!
@Breazer: Thanks very much. I like that army a lot as well and I'm happy to say that they got some more friends coming up in the near future.
@Borsil: Cheers!
Right, no real update, just in case you didn't find the army shots in the link I posted earlier (after my image hosting site went the way of the Dodo), the army shots are up on Tale of Painters now as well:
Showcase: Crimson Fists Army Shots
Hope you like them. For the upcoming weekend I plan to show you the finished Warhound and possibly some pictures of an Apocalypse game featuring one of the Space Wolves armies I painted (very much looking forward to that).
Great armyshots. Just needs some ork bodies lying around.
@Samurai33: Hmm, you're right. So I worked some of that Photoshopping supermagic. :-D
Alright, so the first batch of Crimson Fists is done and on their way home, the Titan is also finished and home already. In fact, I delivered him to his homestead yesterday after getting invited to a 10,000pts-a-side game of 40k taking place just there. Only a one hour drive away, beautiful weather, the opportunity to have a look at a truly huge game so why not? I also got to see some Space Wolves and Salamanders I painted a few months ago again. :-)
Of course I took a bunch of photos because I wanted to test my new camera on tabletop pictures and so I can deliver you with pretty pictures of pretty models. This isn't in any order what so ever, just a few impressions from a spectacular game.
Just as a quick overview: It was essentially Space Marines (Imperial Fists, Salamanders and Space Wolves) and Grey Knights facing a coalition of all kinds of Chaos Space Marines (lots of Nurgly ones, some Slaanes Marines and I think some Tzeentch) with Daemonic allies. About 10,000pts a side, quite a spectacular sight right from the beginning, even before shock troops, fliers and Daemons had shown up. Anyway, without much further ado, here's a few pictures:
Nurglified ruin!
One of the Space Marines commanders summarizing the battle plan:
Right flank advancing:
The Blood Thirster smashing into the imperial left flank sure was an impressive sight:
Lone Wolf facing a horde of Blood Crushers:
An onslaught of perverse abominations of Nurgle:
...and one silly little bit I just did:
You see? It's one of those superauthentic pictures of FW stuff you'd see in the Imperial Armour books! (or see in forum posts of people who lately developed an unhealthy liking for filter effects. ;-) )
You can find the rest of the pictures and bigger versions of the above pictures here in my gallery.
Really nice exerpience, all the players were relaxed and joking around. I'm sure that it got a bit more tense over the course of the game, in my experience that happens as soon as the first flank collapses. :-) A bit sad that I had to leave early because I would have loved to see the outcome of that game. Anyhow, thanks for Sinestro for the invitation. It was fun.
Next up: Chaos Warhound pictures! World Eaters CSM! More Crimson Fists! More Salamanders!

Ever wondered why Maths seemed so hard?
"Everytime I see a maths problem it looks like this: If I have 10 ice cubes and you have 11 apples, how many pancakes would it take to cover the roof.
- ANSWER - Purple, because aliens don't wear hats..."
Great looking game, thanks for posting.![]()
Awesome pictures especially that FW-like one. Great little treat! PS that terrain was nasty in those pics. Very nurgly!

@gonzosbignose: Hey, welcome back! Thanks for commenting.
@mrtn: Thanks for commenting!
@npow34: Cheers. I also liked that terrain. That whole Nurgle army (there were two in total on the table I think) was very impressive. Very colourful and full of contrast, but yet really icky. And all that achieved with rather simple measures. These add-ons on the nurgly building are simple really but change the look a whole lot overall.
Right, after the games pictures I thought I'd put up the pictures of the finished titan now:
...it was a beautiful day and the fella grew restless so I sent Slurge the Plague Marine to go walkies with the Warhound:
Many more pictures are to be found here: http://sigur.tabletopgeeks.com/chaos-warhound/
Hope you like the pictures. Comments and Critique are highly welcome as always!![]()
Fantastic work on the titan. The outside picture really demonstrates the size of it (now the client needs you to do do a reaver...). The green on the raised parts (the arrows etc) is really nice. In the indoor close-ups it looked quite extreme but when viewed on the model as a whole like in the last picture it seems much more subtle.
Damn that is one big model!!! Beautiful paintjob and now I want one too!!!
That is one GORGIOUS (er... I mean hideous) Warhound!!!
Well done![]()
Could you show some more detailed pictures of the inside? Im curious whats all in there![]()
really nice worl^^
