For the sake of competeness, here's the shot of the same guys a bit less made to look like from the colour pages of Codex Imperialis and showing off their pack markings:
Now let's go for the big one:

Now let's go for the big one:
Reet, so much for the finished models...
Now here's what's currently in the works:
Five bikes
I love the fact that one of the guys actually is the Melta biker guy. The SM bikes squad with metal torsos was the first 40k models I ever built and painted.
A trike
A pack of Sky Claws (Space Wolves Assault Squad)
So yeah, that's that. I hope that you like the finished minis and look forward to seeing the currently WIP ones finished. The pictures are also to be found on Battle Brush Studio's Facebook page (sorry if you bought any FB shares).
Great work Sigur...I like the bikers...its nice to see something besides marines on wolves from space wolves....and they have some dynamic poses
and could you tell me once how you do the battle damage?
SPACE WOLVES!!!!......more of them.....MORE photos.Somebody HAS to view the photos. I guess I will "just have to do it".
MORE...oh yes please.
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?
eally nice wolfes i'm very hury to see bikers finished
Aah, I love the smell of sigur's log in the morning - it smells like victory! And Space Marines, not any Space Marines, mind. Only the most bad-ass, battle hardened Space Marines of all. "Essence de Space Marine", if you want.
I do wish to see more fantasy some day though. Might even dance to make that happen.![]()
@Breazer: Thanks! Over the time I'm doing battle-damaged SM already I started doing it differently each time. But for a general guide, please refer to my Space Wolves Step-by-Step painting tutorial. That should cover it pretty in depth.
@Crazy Harborc:Glad you like the Space Wolves. Thanks for having a look and commenting, too!
@anselminus: Thanks very much. These bikers prove to be taking a bit longer than I tought they would... :S
@Gargobot: I think you confuse the smell of crunchy socks, cold coffee and garlic pizza cartons with victory. Thanks for the comment, mate. As you know, I got something Fantasy "on the stove" too, All I need to do is some other stuff before I return to Mordheim.
Hello people. Again, it's been ridiculously long since I last posted here. Reason for this is that I agreed to do demo games of Infinity for my LGS at a rather big anime convention the past Friday. As it is my nature, I started worrying (rightfully so) so I spent way too much time making up demo lists to help showcasing the game's mechanics whilst keeping it simple and quick, yet somehow interesting, I had to basically relearn the rules because my last proper game was in Febuary or March and since then I tried out three other rulesets that are kind of similar, yet very different to Infinity. Of course I really got into Infinity again whilst doing all of this so I thought I should finish that big mech thing to have something pretty to showcase at the con. Apart from that the usual stuff took place that tends to soak up your time.
Anyhow, here's a picture of the demo table at the con:
Sorry, no pictures of young ladies dressed up and with cat ears on their heads. I spent all day in the games room, with just a few quick breaks to grab something to drink. The event, like last year, took place at the Vienna University of Technology which is a great venue. Incidently I had visited the event a few years ago when it still took place at some school in the middle of nowhere and the new venue is a huge improvement.
The one wall of the room which was reserved for games was a huge shelf full of great models of houses made by architecture students or something. Just imagine if we'd had all these buildings to our disposal for tabletop wargames. Paint the suckers up and it would be one one of the greatest gaming tables possible!
Anyhow, the demo gaming stuff went surprisingly well. So I now know that I can do that which is slightly reassuring.
What I finished for the demo games table to showcase:
[...]
The convention and the game demo must have been fun!
Your nomads look great! They make my attempts with Yu Jing look like someone took magic markers to a mini.
The base:
...and of course The pilot next to the battle suit (set to "dance on the spot" in this picture):
After that was done I quickly did a Crazy Koala to use as a mission objective:
If you're not familiar with those little fellas, they basically run/jump/bounce at enemies at high speeds and then explode. They're also cute though.
Then there's updates on the SW Bikers of course:
The last one was a birthday present I got yesterday. It's a ninja on a huge motorbike with blades and such. It's been a while since the last time I got Lego for birthday but it was a nice surprise.Especially as I jokingly guessed that it's a Lego kit when I shook it a bit prior to opening. All silliness aside, you have to admire the elegant genius that goes into the design of these kits. The people who make those come up with pretty clever stuff, given how the parts they use aren't that much different to what they wer 20 years ago.
So! Next stuff: Finished Space Wolves of course, after that it's Fantasy fun. I'll continue doing that Mordheim warband, some demonic stuff as well as a very interesting character conversion.
Nice work as always, I like those puppies!

Little update on the Skyclaws:
Bikes and Trike are finished now.![]()
Why......that could be a giant from the planet Guliiivar hired on as a merc. Where in the heck were Lego blocks when I was young NOT INVENTED YET)?
Oh well....GREAT paint jobs as always. I really...LIKE...that Space Wolves Storm Eagle. It HAS flown into/through some space dust.
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?

really like nomades armourgreat job
Lincoln Logs sets....they were wood and could make a wooden fort (needing several/large sets of logs.
American Bricks, in the early 1950s....they were wood, approx size(???) 18 by 28mm and various other sizes too. Houses, castles...again needing LOTS of sets. Then the company started doing them in plastic.
Lego bricks?? NOT around here until I saw them after I was out of the US Navy (1968) There was a demo model of a Lego castle in a toy store.
The bikes and trikes are done now? Oh, we need photos......Um...."trikes"? As in tricycles? Do these guys pedal?![]()
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?
Man that infinity board looks dense! Seems like the game would be more fun, less just saying, my guy shoots at your guy, roll dice: more move to good shot angles and try to keep your guys out of your opponents fire lanes.
The space wolves look gorgeous, especially love the storm eagle, such a great model in your capable hands!
Old school Black Templar horde, ruined temple Blood Angels, and art scale Space Wolves!

I like the Space Wolves too. I have a question, though - why is the pilot red-armoured? Are all pilots automatically techmarines?
As for the LEGO - there are many new brick shapes, although the basic principles remain the same. There are even brick Orcs, Dwarfs and Trolls (IIRC) available now... one could build a, say, Bretonnian army out of LEGOs - making GW miniatures look cheap at that. Still have a look at some "Ultimate Collection Series" models, they're plastic art.
