I'm doing an art project on childhood for A-level, and need some information on childhood in art:

Names (and links) of past and present artists who deal with childhood in their works.

Information on Madonna and child paintings, especially the development of this theme over time.

Anything else you think is relevant.

Just to say, I guy in my Adv Higher class is doing his project on childhood, and then growing up.

Sorry I can't be of more use, but in Avd H, it's a lot to do with style as well as just content, why not tract down artist's who's style you like.

Particularly Hockney, his photos are something well worth a shot.
