A Halo wargame-in 6" scale!!!

Hi,
Well from the title you can probably get a rough estimate at what i'm doing. The story starts like this, I'm really into the Halo series that Bungie produced and really enjoyed each game. My friend realising my obessession with the games decided as a joke to buy me a halo 3 action figure for my birthday. Seeing as i had nothing else better to do with it i've decided to turn it into a wargaming model and this sparked the idea for me. I bought some more spartans and a couple of covenant actions figs and have started construction.
Here is my master-chief wip:


I also based based a brute chieftan and hopefully by tomorrow i'll have pictures of him for you! Thanks and let me know what you think

Yeah there is one in 28mm scale done by wizkids but to be perfectly honest the standard of the figures is absolutely dreadful so i decided to try this instead.
Quick update here is my brute chieftan based and ready to paint!



I'm gonna undercoat both figures tonight hopefully and then tomorrow i can start work on their paintjobs. I've never done anything this big before so it's gonna be a challenge.

Quick update: No pics to show,
I've undercoated both figures and started work on Master-chief's paintjob
I'm trying to think of an idea for a gaming board for my figures but i can't decide on a location. I want a map that'll be recognised as a Halo location such as the Arc or maybe High Charity. Any suggestions?

Hi people,
sorry no pics to show
I was looking at the upcoming releases for series 2 and 3 of the Halo 3 action figs and found out that they're not bringing out the normal UNSC troopers so i was wondering whether anyone knew of 6" figures i could convert or use as a substitute? Also any ideas for the board or in general let me know!

They are 6 inch scale, so basically the size of the average kid's action figure.

Master-chief is almost done just got to do his base and give him some static grass and then I can start on the brute chieftan
