Last weekend, my game club/store hosted a photoshoot, aimed at teaching amateurs how to photograph small miniatures. By "amateurs" I mean people who spend as much time in photography as we do in wh40k!

A few of us players lent our models to, to serve as targets. And this allowed me to finally get good shots of my heavy tank! The ones I had, taken with an old camera, were so bad I was ashamed of them

So, here's my Command Vanquisher. Made the model severall years ago, my first big conversion. The turret is from an M60A2 1:35, the Leman Russ hull was lenghtned, and the sponsons are from a Forgeworld Baneblade; a fellow IGer in another forum received 2 extras, when he bought one, and I got them cheap

Edit: have to use links... Warseer is crushing the photos

You got an M60A2 turret! Nicely done.
Other pictures there look good too.
To master any skill you must accept doing it poorly at first.

I really like the looks of the Soviets WW2 equivalent of the US Willy's Jeep, the GAZ -67B.
So I picked up a 1/48 scale Tamiya kit to customize to fit into my IG army.

Haven't figured out the rules for them yet, but I have the idea they would be utilized as expendable recon units to make contact with the enemy on long range patrols. If they don't return from patrol, then the IG officers now know where the enemy is! I think they would make a alternative to horse mounted IG cavalry.

I love the Gaz! Since it's such a small vehicle, perhaps just use it as heavy weapons team that can move and fire? Or something like an attack bike?

@Brushfire = Really nice jeep - how about using them as sentinels?

It wasnt glued in that pic, just propped together. The whole top section has been cut off now anyway, so that wont be an issue.

Check out the Taurus from FW - those are the rules you need. I doubt anyone will mind you swapping the automatic grenade launcher thing for a Heavy Stubber either.

SDKFZ - looking very good, might be it could use some faint soot around the housing of that demolisher cannon, clean atm, but with heavy soot around the barrel doesn't look quite right.

I've come across this kit and I'm trying to figure out what it could be used for (conceptually, not necessarily in game) has a very nice post-apoc feel to it. Maybe not 40k though? I could see some Ash Wastes nomads rolling round in it.

@SDKFZ; Just a small point, but there really should be some soot on the main turret gunbarrel beside the autocannon - both the muzzle brake and the actual muzzle blast would deposit quite a bit of soot on there when it was fired.

Re: The Imperial Guard Tread-head thread

Surpize, I think that'd work best as an elysian vehicle in game universe wise.

    Anyway, Malcaruss update

    And not to waste anybits..
