People of the Tread Head Thread!
I have found an ebay.co.uk shop that sells all the items that people use from the 1/48 scale, from verlinden and tamiya etc.
The are www militiary-precision co uk , I have dealt with the guy before, and he is a real good trader, his delivery is dirt cheap (£1 per item) first class for UK buyers.
I'm finding nothing of what you say. :s
Hello Eduard it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Thats the linky, great guy.
I've got a few spare tops of Chimaerae sitting about, and have resolved to make 'em wheeled. Do you chaps prefer two or three wheels either side? I can't quite decide. Oh, the wheels are from a pair of old Playmobil jeeps. I have 9 in total, so enough for 2 vehicles if I do 4-wheelers, but only one otherwise, y'see. Though I could use t'others for a halftrack.
six is much more military lookong and fills the space better.
Power Armour is for Wimps! Real men go into battle out of the back of a Valkyrie at 500 feet.

Indeed, 6 wheels is much more military looking.
MrP- i am doing exactly the same as you at the momenti did 6

I agre. IMO the super combos of 40K are not so super that they give a auto-win.
Some WIP's as of today on my scratch built 6 wheel arbites riot control chimera

I would suggest that those players who think that paper tanks are cheating or disrespecting the hobby should see if they can track down a copy of White Dwarf #132. - kelvingreen
Reading these red & black forums since 2001.
The french also have a 4 wheeled version of the VAB (apc) and of course the British army has the Saxon (although it quite often wishes that it had'nt)
Mm, now you chaps are convincing me of the other view. I'm quite taken with Germany's Condor which carries either twin 7.62 or a single 20mm - easily represented by an AC or twin HB option. Hm, I'll have a look through The Treadhead Bible before Sharpe comes on and see if I can make a decision. On another front, I'll probably have finished the tanks currently drying outside by Tuesday, so some more pics then.![]()
Ok, pretty much done with my old Armorcast Shadowsword. I had to file off that goofy dome hatch on top, fill the holes on the sponsons, and file out actual sponsons. Then I made some T/L Heavy Bolters for the sponsons. The old Lascannon turrets got cut off, and replaced with some left over sensors from my Valkyrie. It's all primed and ready for final touches and paint. What do you guys think?

And finally, I think it's pretty much complete for now...
The Orichan 1st Regiment, 3rd Armored Company, the "Dirty Third" in all it's Imperial Glory!

Looks pretty good. I'd add some detail to it though (stuff like shovels, picks, jerrycans and towcables), as it isn't nearly as detailed as your Baneblade. Other than that, I like it.Originally Posted by Necrontyr

Yupp, that's my flying box (The Arvus)! That thing is awesome. Puts my Veterans w/ 3 meltas right where they need to be everytime.
Necrontyr; could I ask what you thought of the Arvus kit? Hows the level of detail and how easy is to assemble? I am thinking about purhcasing one for my Enginseer to fly around in to support my armoured company (pictures hopefully to follow!).... not sure whether id use the arvus rules or just use it as a "chimera" though....
