Some really great stuff in the last day or so, I'm loving those AA Boars Ash, and SDKFZ's Tauros sqaud is stunning (plus their colouring is not dissimilar from my own guys!) That hydra-russ is rather snazzy too.

Thanks for the comments. I'll respond to a few directly;

@ Vex, I'm still looking for some hub cap type armour for the arty units but I haven't found anything yet, and I'm rubbish at cutting out circles! Regarding the rivets, I'd completely forgotten that the turret I showed wasn't the finished one of the pair- thanks for reminding me, it's now up to 98 rivets!

@ Hammerbolt, Tinners, Col Jacka and SDKFZ, I'm really glad you like the UAV. As I said Tinners it was seeing your UAV over a year ago that inspired me to try making something of my own. This is probably the 3rd or 4th version but I'm pretty pleased with it so far. Here are some close ups.





There are a real plethora of bitz in this thing. The tail is actually the forge world AI thunderbolt, while the front is made from manticore parts, several scanners, missiles from a stormraven and the turret of an old epic shadowsword. The engines are land speeder and valk rocket pods with the fronts scratch built. On the underside there are 3 vtol engine ports made from a SM jump pack, you can see a bit of one in this side shot.

Since Hydras are the vehicle of the week it seems I thought I'd share my day's labours; two of the things.

As always, all this stuff is still WIP at some stage or another, and C&C is more than welcome!
