Damn Soviet, that's a lot of good looking firepower!

This is the latest addition to the Krieg motor pool. Thanks to Tinners with his VW Thing scratch build, it convinced me I could make a Kwagen with landspeeder and bike parts, I'm not confident going pure plastic card just yet. Anyway, it was fun and pretty easy to put together. I plan to use this as my count as Tauros Assault Vehicle (the little one with the grenade launcher). I still got another guy to put in the passenger seat. Also I want to make clear in case anybody finds it uncomfortable, when I started collecting my army I was playing a lot of Company of Heroes. I just like the vehicle designs, I don't use any historical iconography.

Nice modelling, fits in very well - might try that myself at some point.

Really good scratch build mate. I think the head lamps are little to big and take from the overall appearance.

Thanks nitromors, its not a difficult build at all luckily!

Thanks Jacka, I was thinking the same about the lights, perfect shape just a little too big.

Sovietred, that tank is looking very sleek! Really like the double front armor, dual hatches, and the optic scopes. Are smoke launchers going in the indents on the turret front?

It's a turret. A TURRET! Got it? There is no such thing as a turrent.

    SR,

The turret is awesome, though I'm not sure about the Rhino / Hedgerow attachment. I don't think it works and takes away from the looks of the Tank. The front hull needs a Bolter and more rivets I think.

@Chartist Captain & @Colonel Jacka: The smoke launchers and front HB in here.

@Colonel Jacka: The the Rhino / Hedgerow is mean the sharp hull front? This inspired by IS-3 tank, it weld, so I don`t put rivets.

@SanguinaryDan: I`m working in assemble manual and making some samples, in early of Aug it will be done.

    SR,

Just noticed the other hull front and your latest photo of the Turret and there's a gun port there. You have lots of guns to go on the front hull I see as well. Also, those smoke launchers are the best I've seen. They really work well. Do the hatches come of the Turret. SDKFZ will love this one.

I have two links here about Rhino-Hedgerows. I think you should call the tank the "Culin" Leman Russ and link three explains why.

Muhwahaha! It will be perfectly hi-techie looking to go with my Mechanicum/Knight army.

The twin-battle cannon/conqueror cannon will called Prowler, the sharp head will called Vanguard, the twin-vanquisher will called Apocalypse. All the tank is LeaderRats

No, the pikenose style frontal armor is fine, except for that ball style mount. It changes the angle and increases risk of penetration. See, the pikenose works by increasing the angle or impact to increase relative thickness without increasing actual thickness. This is a weight-saving measure in certain Russian and Chinese heavy tanks. It stands out, will draw fire, and risk penetration on a ricochet.

I do like the round uparmored turret. Slap some Kontact 5 on there, and we're good.

The brush cutter is totally unnecessary. We're looking at a heavy tank, it's un-needed due to the tank's sheer mass. A better detail would be brush guards around the headlights to protect them.
