Looking very nice ! I do also think that it would look better if you could some how lower the turretbase.
Maby by removing the lowerpart and just keeping the turretring itself ??

The problem with any side sponson is that I can't figure out a way to do it that doesn't interfere with the tracks/suspension. The problem is that this tank design is very mid-WWII looking, and by then tank designs no longer supported side sponsons.

SDKFZ: By "the lower part" do you mean the area indicated in the picture below?

Tinners, your work is, as always, so pretty it makes me want to be a better person and not hate you so much for your awesomly superior skills.

And please take that as compliment.

Tommygun, all your work is fantastic, but I honestly have to say imho your Punisher's muzzle flash is way too small. Like way too small. Which shouldn't matter, since one is blinded by the turret awesomeness.

I'm afraid to say that despite some excellent work, the side of the baneblade says anal...

lol the humiliation of the enemy when they are defeated by a baneblade with anal on the side.

Re: The Imperial Guard Tread-head thread

Nice work, gregmita. I spent quite a while attempting to work out how to deal with sponsons m'self. The options I came up with - unless my memory has abandoned me - were:

    1) to model them as pintle-mounted weaponry on the turret
    2) to model a pair of HBs in the front hull mount and a third as a pintle-mounted weapon
    3) to model a pair of HBs in the front hull mount and a third as a co-axial weapon
    4) to model the first HB in the front hull mount, the second as a coaxial weapon and the third as a pintle weapon.

Fifth and sixth options becomes apparent on seeing either the Baneblade kit or its historical antecedent (the KVII? I forget), which has a lasgun mounted in the rear of the turret: stick a HB in the hull mount, one in the rear of the turret, and the third a) coaxially or b) as a pintle-mount.

I understand there can be terribly anal chaps who get upset about measuring from the barrel of blah rather than blahblah, but I dunno as I'd worry about 'em!

Don"t post often here but i thought I'd make an addition to this thread.

This is the first of 3 Minotaurs I'm doing for my Krieg army. Its still a work in progress...still needs some blending, the lenses, and the crew. As you can tell my Camera sucks...

I think I'll use my ol' VDRed Decimator as a Punisher with the new codex.
