Stunning work, iPaint! Really like the vision ports and the gun looks very believeable and "in scale" with the rest of the vehicle. Do you use it as a regular Russ or a Vanquisher?

Nope, just a regular MBT for now. I have built one Vanquisher cannon that is swappable with the Battle Cannon (pictured above), but since the Vanq is sorta meh in the codex, I'm not in any rush to build more for now.
Thanks everyone for the comments, eventually I'll have some mud/dirt effects added to it.

Vanquisher did suffer a bit o' the nerf bat in the new book didn't it?
Regardless, it's good to see the long barrel makes the new even cooler.

It's a turret. A TURRET! Got it? There is no such thing as a turrent.
Stunning vanquisher there. Damn you guys, you make me draw up all kind of crazy plans for my IG again...
Here's my Destroyer Tank Hunter. Nothing awesome, but it's sufficient I daresay.

Sure, it's a relatively simple process.
I use the gun mantle for the Punisher gatling gun and 2 pieces of plastic card tubing.
The long, thin piece is a 1/4" diameter piece cut to 3" in length. The smaller, thicker piece is a 5/16" diameter cut to 1". To fit the pieces on the tank, I place the 1/4" into the gun mantle, then slide the 5/16" on from the end until it is flush against the mantle. I then pull the gun barrel off, mark the position of the 5/16" tube with a pencil, then glue the two tubes together with some plastic cement.
Easy battle cannon.
You can find some photos in my paint log in my signature. I think on page 1.

marcineczek0 & iPaint, those are some great photos of great IG armor. Nicely done!
Stunning work iPaint!
Anyway, I'm just in the middle of putting together a new Hydra prototype; pretty much done now excepting tracks and track guards. Figured these would look a bit more interesting than the standard version. Naturally this is still just a WIP.

What bits go into making that?
1) Hull - Chimera, having had the hull chopped into thirds and ditching the central section. Shift the front section back to replace the crew compartment, fill in gaps with additional hull plating.
2) Turret - Predator turret. Buy as a Predator, sell as Rhino. Cut the twin-linked lascannons right back to their foundations and round off edges to look like air vents.
3) Turret rotation - Lego Technic axles and framework mounted inside the turret allow it to still rotate in place, despite trying to fit a Predator turret ring onto a Chimera hull.
4) Sensor dome - Standard Guard vehicle searchlight. Ditch the light itself. Turn the searchlight housing around, file off the wiring and attachments to leave a smooth surface.
5) Gatling cannons - Forgeworld Vulture punisher cannons, with the mountings cut into the appropriate angles for mounting on the side of the turret.
6) Ammunition barrel - Comes with the punisher cannons. Saw a barrel in half and mount vertically inside the turret cupola, and then feed the ammunition belts into the top. Cut and slice belts to appropriate lengths.
7) Details - Turret ring from a Leman Russ, cut up and slotted around the ammunition barrel to create a seal with the turret. Little auspex dish from the Predator sprues.
8) Annoyances - Spending fething ages measuring with a set square to make sure the barrels are parallel with each other.![]()
