Re: The Imperial Guard Tread-head thread

So I did order in my 222's, and I got accessory packs to give them more stowage and such. Was worried initially about the size relative to guardsmen as some of the gear arrived first, but when they showed up on Thursday I pulled them open to compare a guardsman to the hull itself. See for yourselves..

Going to go with the grenade launcher loadout, at least with these ones.

Most of the work so far is on the undercarriage of the first one. Getting to the point I'm going to hit it with paint before I go much further as it's starting to load up on things.

    Nice group pic Colonel!

The wrecker came out very well SKDFZ!

allegedlynerdy, for a steel legion tank commander try getting some spare necron heads and cutting them down to fit under a cadian helmet. You can add a little green stuff for a hose or filter and it will look like a human with a cool gasmask in scale with your steel legion and cheaper than krieg.

Sauragnmon, you spared yourself a lot of trouble getting a historical 221/2 kit instead of trying to cut those angle's yourself.

I am proud to present the completed Kreig version of the tauros assault vehicle! I swapped out the head lights for the smaller ones on my macharius vulcan, other than that all you really need is a land speeder and a 2 SM bikes to make this with some plastic card.

Very cool kitbash idea, Chartist Captain. I admit at a glance I thought it was an actual kubelwagon kit. I may have to loot that idea!

This is true, Chartist, but I forgot the.....fun... of historical kits - so many fiddly bits.

Leadmill: The crane looks good, not to big for the chimera chassis.

SDKFZ: Nice wrecker! You have 3 Russ chassis ones and your Superheavy recovery vehicle? If you need more, the mechanicus might send one of their auditors out to check your fleet preventative maintenance plans, unless your tank fleet is soo big because after every battle your guys are looting and reclaiming all the enemy wrecks.
