Cool! Thanks for the pics!
The FW version is still nicer, but at £18 this one will do just fine.![]()

So seating is side-on and back-to-back against each fin. 5 fins 2 seat ... logical really. Nice looking model. Thought that missile launcher looks a but silly on the inside where fins would break LOS.
Notice the SM's are the same old model nothing to indicate any new pieces/redesigns.

I like it but it looks very brittle and fragile. Doesn't strike me as something that can fall out of orbit and survive, especially with ten fully loaded Marines on board.

I have money in my pocket that is now reserved for , oh I reckon 3 should do.
Well worth the wait. Yes, the FW ones are nice but for the price difference these will do just nicely.

I agre. IMO the super combos of 40K are not so super that they give a auto-win.
For it to hold a Dreadnought there would have to be a way to build it with 1 large door each side, similar to the FW one....so 2 design/build options.
Or 2 totally different kits...

I have a feeling that if you want your dread to come bursting out of a pod then you will have to buy the FW version.
I think those are the new marines btw as someone else pointed out. It looks like there are shadows around the U symbol.

If those are the new starter box marines, then I am suitably impressed. I have my doubts, however, they look exactly like the squad originally featured on the 3rd Ed Tactical Squad boxed set, and the image is too blurry for me to believe that's a shadow.
But that's just my .02 Imperials, of course.

Last I heard about this, the pod ws supposed to be able to be made in either a 5 door infantry pod, or a three door dreadnought pod from the same box set.
Anyone confirm or deny this?
