    Dark Elf pic

She summoned that weird daemon because of a slight mistake in the ritual…

…but whatever the hell it is, it's not going to get its ward save against the correction.

I've done a lot of colouring in of line drawings and image manipulation in the past, but this was my firstest ever attempt at a full-on digital painting. It's a sorceress by the way. She's probably a bit overdressed given how these Slaanesh worshippers are mostly likely to behave during summoning rituals, but that was a route I decided not to go down (I couldn't resist that bit of highlighting though. Sorry). I'm pretty pleased with it for a first go; just thought someone here might appreciate it.

Incidentally, you might be one of the 321 people who've seen this picture on the web before, but if you are you'll understand that I can't actually link to the site it's on...

Very nice. The eyes could use a bit more expression, but I know that eyes are one of those hard elements.

Wow, that is a great picture. Did you do it all alone ?

Yes, but not how you're probably thinking. It's all my own work, but I used this picture as the basis for it, which I modelled in DAZStudio (a free 3D posing-type art program). Everything else is Photoshop painting over the top of it (or underneath it).

Well, thank you very much for the hint with DAZ3D Studio. I downloaded it and bought some addons, my first work is close to be finished, then i will show it here. I am working on a Wood Elf Mage (the flying one) Hope that one will look goot, i am still searching the right Clothes for that.
Well i don't have Photoshop for the post render work, i use Paintshop Pro 6 and/or Photo Impact from Ulead.

It's a really great tool to make easy 3D Art... but all those Add Ons are also very expensive...
