Final Poll for the Warseers Chapter Colours

Before you are the final 10 designs for the Colours of The Warseers Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes.

Below you will find an attachment showing all 10 designs. The poll is multiple choice allowing you to vote for all the deisgns you like, not just the one you like most.

I'm going to vote for colour schemes one and two. I like one the best but two runs it a close second IMO.

Number seven all the way for me, although I wont be too disappointed if it goes the way I think it'll go...

I voted for #2- simply because it's an easy scheme to pain and highlight.

If I'd read the entire post before voting I would've voted for #1 as well for the following reasons.

The blue's not too dark and not too light to make shading and highlighting a pain, it's a simple scheme of only 3 colours and it looks significantly enough different from any chapter I've ever seen.

In addition that scheme would look nice of most bases and terrain sets, be they swamps, arctic, night/ashworlds or even the standard green.

However it turns out, I've commited myself to doing a 1000pt army to take to tournaments.

1,2,3,5 & 9 all look cool to me. Don't like the lighter blue on some of the others.

I had to pick the badge for the chapter first before the colors because some of the shoulder guard colors would blend too much.

1 and 7. Both have black shoulder pads, 1 has nice contrast, and 7... well, 7 is Ice Blue! You can't go wrong with that!

I think the idea is to avoid a situation where one scheme gets the most votes but the majority of people didn't vote for it (and therefore probably don't want it). Of course, I'm not in the loop so I'm just guessing.

Indeed, but there could always be a run off between the two most popular schemes.

I like having multiple options. There are several schemes I like and several I really don't (the crimson fists one for example, sorry). Differentiating between these two groups is more important than picking one favourite, for me. We may still have to have a run-off anyway...

Of the "lighter" designs it's between 1 and 3.
Of the "darker" designs it's between 2 and 4.

But they're all nice.

I don't know if this is the place to ask, but once the colourscheme is decided, could someone post a list of the colours used (base, cloths and cloaks included)? It would be appreciated by colourblind freaks like myself.

Once a scheme is decided upon I think it would be a good idea for one of our stronger painters to write up a "how to paint a warseer marine" guide.

I voted for #8. Too many Chapters already use a medium blue & white, where almost none use Ice Blue & Black, which are the colours I've favoured since this Battle Barge thing started. It matches the Warseer icon too; just lose the red bit on the chest eagle.

3 for me, but not because it's mine, solely because it has a white shoulder pad (along with the blues I love) which will make any transfer application or painting of logo's far superior to black, it will enhance the look of the entire force if the markings aren't faded, but strong, as they should be.

I hope others agree, although 1 and 5 are good too, I don't like the dark shoulder pads in 1, or the basicness of 5.

Looking at the poll #s, it seems as though the slannesh colors are winning.
