Best of all, Nottingham is cheap!
Best of all, Nottingham is cheap!
I shall try to attend anything.
I will be at Carnage for the To8G final but if I have the spare cash I'll come to any campaign weekend or tourney you choose to run.
Indeedy, WW is the best place for holding a tournament in the UK, without a doubt.
I'd definitely try to come along to anything - I've been meaning to come along to one of the Portent/Warseer tournaments for a while now, but never actually got round to it.
40kforums.com - an alternative for Warseer, not a replacement. Give us a try.
Skullwhite.com - My minis
We also have to make sure that the Warseer and Dysartes tournaments aren't too close together.
They were within a month or two of each other last summer and lots of people who post on both forums showed up for just dysartes as they didn't have enough cash for both.
Better make sure ours is first thenOriginally Posted by Darkseer

Isn't carnage set for march?
anyways - it's always a good weekend if you can avoid throwing up in the WHW toilets due to hanging around with the naughty boys, and also if you don't get injured by Guido.
Only one of these happened to me, care to guess?
Count me in for whatever happens, btw.

You threw up in the WHW toilets...I had the pleasure of opening one of the box doors and saw your 'leftovers'...
No no no, I threw up at Carnage, not the first tourney.
That must have been one of the other reprobates.

Althought I would prefer a campaign I'm game for a Warseer tournament. Not interested in Carnage or other tournaments though - I don't like the competative atmosphere they generate.
Carnage is about as competative as a monkey **** fight.Originally Posted by Bruen

Yes, it's not very competative at all.
Everyone is there for fun...
However, last time there was a Necron player not even from this forum, who was a MASSIVE ********.
This time I think that only members of the forum should be allowed to attend, as all of us are nice people.
Insulting people that the Carnage Tournament organiser is a friend of is not particularly clever on a forum that can be read by anyone.Originally Posted by Darkseer
All three Portent Tournaments were attended to by people outside of the forum, the Carnage Tournaments are no different and I dare say the WarSeer Tournaments will be the same. Forum members have been always free to invite their friends and gaming buddies and sometimes the organiser invites particular clubs and/or personalities to attend.Originally Posted by Darkseer

Little bit angry for you, 'seer. You must really dislike the guy.
Seemed a nice fella to me, but I never played him so my opinion is probably useless (Unlike the rest of the time, where people ask my opinion before buying a new pair of shoes)
I dare say a few Dysartians might make the trip to notts, myself included. I'll get with the persuading at the next few club nights.

I can't quite see how he is, as you put it, a MASSIVE ********.
That really isn't practical.Originally Posted by Darkseer
