i think the project has been dead for 2+ years now. i've stripped and unassembled my model a few months back since i got no feedback about this project.

Well, in a few weeks I am going to finally submit my Phd and commence an obscure social ritual I have read about called a 'holiday'.
I intend to paint up my own Warseers army if nothing else. Most likely as count-as Space Wolves but able to be fielded as vanilla marines as well.
But yeah, people have been asking where to send their finished figures now for a couple of years and there has been no concrete answer.

Well if the Project is Dead, cant we redo it, Start with a Company, use the same colors that were founded back five years ago? All we need is 20-50 Memebers to join back up. Chapter Warseer 2012. I am down, I would say start with 2nd Company and once we have 50 memebers Add another Company from there. If some people hit this and a Mod doesnt mind, I can help start this back up.

This is seriously in hand when the FAQ's last update still is "Last edited by Wintermute; 24-02-2007 "? When it lists traits, referencing a long outdated codex? And you yourself redirected questions to this very FAQ in the previous page?

I too understand it's a large scale undertaking and organizing, but you can't expect people to give away miniatures and even vehicles if there is to requote Spectral Dragon "no sign that this is going anywhere".

It is not difficult to make another sticky saying: "We are here now. X and Y difficulty (eg storage space, I gathered after lots of reading -which shouldn't be) prevents us from going further. The project isn't dead, we are working on solving this, and stating how". Or make it the first line of the FAQ. Or update the FAQ to at the very least remove outdated information.

Have something say where you are, people have felt enthusiasm for this project and they would wholeheartedly give a lot, but all people have been getting about this for the last years or so has been one liners roughly saying:
"Read the outdated FAQ"
"Stop asking and paint your marine"
"I'll close this it's in hand".

Either it's going somewhere and you say so, or it's not and you can let others have a go at it. Can't expect people to paint a marine or a vehicle not in their army colours, ready to give them away, and let the thing in limbo for years without any clue to where the thing goes, and expect them to be happy about it.

Just signed up for Warseer and got exited when I stumbled onto this project. Had my name and specialty picked out. Then I find out there's been no update for years and the project is dead.

Darn, this seemed like a really cool idea. Oh well, still gonna do up a Marine in the Warseer colours, sure I have an Assault Marine or two lying around somewhere. All glory to the VIIIth!
