    I would if it wasnt that the only scout not currently in use in any of my armies is armed with a heavy botler.

    Plus Heavy Bolters are just cool.

    Will we have heavy weapons in our squad? I'll stick with a shotgun, of you don't mind. Then again, I'm not sure what kinds of heavy/special weapons are available for scouts...

    The only heavy weapons Scouts have access to are heavy bolters & missile launchers.

    IMO a missile launcher would be good in the sniper squad to add a bit of long range heavy firepower and the heavy bolter in the bolter squad.

    However I'm willing to listen to suggestions from my Sgts and Scouts.

    Pure shotguns methinks, trooper, since there's only a couple of heavy weapon options and we wanna be mobile. Unless I get guildership, in which case I'll have a storm bolter. . . can't wait to convert that.

    OK, OK - it's getting a little cluttered. If I may suggest we keep the three weapon types to sniper, bolter and CC (Heavies notwithstanding)

    Please let us know which squad you want to be in, then maybe w can chat about how the colour scheme will work for scouts.

    Sniper squad:
    Tom-H.

    Bolter squad:

    CC Squad:

    i think prehaps the heavy bolter should join the close combat squad, always need abit of firepower before we go in a give the enemy a good kicking!

    I'm willing to put in an entry for the scout sniper squad. What environment will the army be operating in (aka, whats on their bases) and can I give the sniper a ghillie suit if its fitting of the environment? Also, how should I paint the scouts in relation to the chapter colors? The scout squads may look weird if the whole squad consists of 5-10 cases of artistic license from different individuals.

    i'm gonna be getting a new plastic set of scouts, so i'll happily donate a scout. is that ok, being an old veteran of portent, or would you rather i was power armoured?

    If you wish to join the Scout company you're welcome just choose a squad and there is a Sgt spot going free in the battle (bolters company) if you wanted.

    If you want to go power armour you can do that as well but in another company.

    I reckon I'd like to nominate me (Sergeant Loki) for command of the bolter squad unless anyone else wants it.

    Couple of questions - are scout sergeants eligible for true grit from Trust your Battle Brothers (lent my codex to a friend) or does it just apply to tactical marines, and what kind of terrain are we fighting over?

    i will gladly over my services in the scout company - fitting as im fairly new round here.

    i have spare a heavy bolter scout, sniper scout or bolter scout. so i will go for the bolter squad join up unless my fire power is needed else were.

    Do we have the colors yet?
    I know Blue and white for the chapter,
    but how about a little darker for the
    scouts. Maby Shadow grey(GW sg is blueish) for the armor,
    and white for the unarmored parts?

    So, let's discuss. I'm also converting somer egular scouts for my sm army, at the moment bolter and sniper scouts from metal pistol scouts. I'm using mostly cadian arms, and I've found that sm plastic shoulders are about the same size as scout shoulder pads. Scout biker arm components holding handlebars are perfect for holding a rifle too. Cadian lasguns, modified, can quite closely resemble sniper rifles.

    However, I'd like a tad of advice: How would you do the "cables" that run around to the back? How about the bullet injection?
