Rev, i'd put the drums close the to the back, try and blend them in and make them look armoured.

About here would look ideal i think.

Great idea bp, I'll try that when I poach the bits from SpikyJames.

As for now, I've been checking out my bits to see if I've got enough IH bits to convert the above list (20 marines 8 bikes etc) heres how far I got:

    Here's the tac squads allocation:

    and the second:

As you can see I like to be organised. Drop pod in the background and a stack of bikes on sprues. I need 5 more!

You've defnitely got a bit of stuff to be working on there mate, I can't wait to see how your marines turn out, any progress on the iron father.

Haha organised indeed matey, best way to work imo.

Glad you have taken on board the idea about the drum placement. It seems the only real arrangement in my mind, might be worth seeing about trying to GS a couple of ejection ports for the shells to "fly out" of.

Sounds like a plan, I'll give it a shot.

    In the meantime -

    the B&C forums ran a competition for painting the free WD termy. Here's mine, voting has just finished, I came second;

can anybody name that classic chapter?!

um, the awesome looking black dudes chapter. no really i don't know.

hey Rev, been a while. so on your pred thats certainly an intriguing take on the turret. Nice job, also thats a lot of building you have got to do. I am due to start my loyalists soon, as my Reavers are now finished on the pre-chaos side of things so im taking a break from them (building not playing) and am going to work on some loyalists. keep up the good shizzle as usual man.

    And shadowphrakt gets the cookie.

It is indeed the deathstrike - great fun to paint, and that was before I found out they got a homeworld in the new dex too!!

Joking aside that is a nice looking Terminator, for a snap fit.

Oh and as an aside rev with regards to your coment in my log; it was a 2 but the admech couldn't be bothered fixing it so gave me cash instead.

I think the terminator is awesome rev, and yours was way better than the first place entry.
The armor looks great, how did you paint it? And the yellow for that matter...

    Guilty as charged...

Nice work overall Rev. Although you can have some bonus kudos for the carpets, plastic Grey Knight and vast amounts of MkVIII armour in all the armies (I'm a bit of a MkVIII fan...).

EDIT: On the Ironfather bike, why not have the bolters on the front wheel cover thingy. Drum fed. Linked to the handlebar triggers by wiring.

Really nice Terminator Rev, the highlighting, freehand and gold are all excellent. A well deserved 2nd place, and I think you have a valid claim to 1st.

Interesting to see B&C, and that Warseer isnt the only place where people get really het up about toy soldiers (the whole "basing controversy" thing )

...although your base is excellent. But what, no carpet?
...and though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will; to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
