Those latest blood ravens look really nice mate, the standard bearer has a wonderfull rally to me kinda feel about him and the freehand on the apothecaries cloak is amazing.

I'll echo the comment that the Blood Raven cloak looks very 'Eldar', but it's very well done and the freehand is cool. I like the red as well - it's very clean and has a surprisingly strong tone, kinda like red wine rather than the more common comic book bright red.

Really good job on the Ravens mate!I really like the freehand on the Apothecary's cloak and as swifty2 said,the standard bearer has a "Rally to me brothers!" feel!Keep up the good work!

The red I use is

Black undercoat
scab red/scorched brown/chaos black/ red gore mix to get a dark crimson colour.
Scab red
Red gore
Blood red
Wash with tamiya clear red & black ink

Vulture is coming together nicely. Its a HUNK of resin, very pleasing to work with. Lots of pinning and GS'ing required tho for any chance of TT survival!

I've been here - painting away. I've got 5 finished airbrushed skimmers for my mech eldar army, 20 fire dragons inc 2 converted breath flamer exarchs, a blood ravens command all painted and finished, they just need photographing.

I've also got a BR vindi and IG vulture punisher in various stages of undress atm.

my painting table is never dull, unfortunatly as the kids get older time for photographing and airbrushing gets less and less - and the wife is due AGAIN in a few weeks. busy busy.

Things are starting to take shape. The camo is a pattern frmo the tactica Aeronautica book, I'll get a pic from the book for you if I can so you can see it:









Its a nice camo actually, I really like it - quite pleasing on the eye which you can't say for all camo patterns!
