Lovely purple i have to admit. I agree with the other chaps though saying the Dark Angel helmet isn't right, it looks out of place, i'd change that if i were you.![]()

Ever wondered why Maths seemed so hard?
"Everytime I see a maths problem it looks like this: If I have 10 ice cubes and you have 11 apples, how many pancakes would it take to cover the roof.
- ANSWER - Purple, because aliens don't wear hats..."

Very nice mate, everything works well together, even the DA helmet!
The skin is particularly striking, what stages did you go through for it?
Glad you guys like it.
The skin is fairly simple, as most of my skin recipes are -
its a space wolf grey basecoat
a wash of 50/50 leviathan and asurman
highlight of SW grey,
adding in skull white for futher highlights over 2/3 stages
skull white pure final lighting
Inspired by spiky james abbadon face.
more pics coming...

Yeah the face on the termy is perfect. Is he deliberately a lighter purple than the Noise Marines, or is it a lighting thing? If he is lighter, it would make a good contrast. Loving it.
Those who know don't care any more, and those who care don't know.
It's an evolution. I felt the test figs didn't quite pop like I'd envisaged so I went back to the mixing pots and added some more warlock purple. It looks better I think.
10 sonic marines down, 10 to go!

Well I must say, absolutely awesomely painted armies, having just looked through most this thread Rev, superb.
I have just one question if I may, how did you paint the cream on the Blood Ravens scheme and off of what basecoat? Well I guess thats two, so I apologise in advance, but I've been looking for such a subtle variation of the colour for my Eldar for a little while.
impressive marine blogand well painting
Thanks Guys for the comments.
I know I know - it's been months. You try painting AND taking pictures AND getting them on to the laptop with a job like mine and two small children.![]()
