Landspeeder Squadron BS

So I stunned one land speeder out of 2. One speeder happened to be 4" away from the other (maintaining coherencey).
I figured great...the only way they will be able to maintain glancing only status is to abandon and thus destroy the stunned one...
But being a devious opponent, he said he could move one landspeeder, from one side of the speeder to the other, hence moving about...7 inches...

I thought this would be covered on pg 69 second column on the top... and would not work... I mean he would have to move around his own speeder? Basically he hopped over one speeder and moved about 2 inches more...

So I said whatever and let it go....but i was so mad at this crappy rulebending...

I just wanna know whats ur take on the events...?

Sounds legit to me.

As far as I can see, the only reason it sounds iffy is because it looks similar to the "if anyone in a foot-troop squad moves then no one can fire heavy weapons" rule. But speeders are vehicles, not foot troops, so that rule doesn't really apply.

The stunned speeder can still be penetrated though.

Do I get to choose to hit the stunned one first say if I shoot an autocannon at it?

Nope I'd guesss he'd still put the first hit on the moving one but if you hit the unit twice then the second one would be hit too. Just make sure both of your autocannon shots hit their target.

neither player gets the choice. first shots hit the closest vehicles first, then each shot after that goes down the line. only starting over when each one has been hit once. if he puts the damaged(stunned) skimmer in the back then, next time you shoot, it'll get hit first, and possilby go down first. if he puts it up front, then one of the others get the first hit. BBB pg 73 "vehicle units in a unit(squadron) - shooting phase"

Great... I woulda roxored the both of them if that how it goes...this darn rule book has various subjects thrown here there and everywhere!!!!! No order!

Yeah that sucks man but like everyone has said if you get 2/4 ect hits you will hit the stationary one too.

P.s I voted to no as the question asks should it be legal not is it legal.
