Yes, I guess I let this down for tto long. But I must say, works here are very time consuming and with the kids and all I turned back to the metal, simple painting, no convörshuns.

However, I was unable to not get distracted again and bought meself some real Orks. 1987, a good year in many respects.

Here, eight real metal Orks:



These I bought last year, when I decided to go rogue trader in a rather special way. My chaos and also some Space Marines show this new path of retro collecting and gaming. My Orcs and Goblins army, full metal, if I may say so, was the first one. Then came dwarfs.
At some point I was just annoyed of so many things of my fave mini maker, I decided to stick to what got me into this whole cash sink.



These came in yesterday, three more to come. I look so forward to paint them. New colour schemes, whole new skin types, checker and other patterns and lots of stuff I never did before. And you only need a few to start gaming. No need to collect for ages. Tmie in which one gets distract... oh look a squirrel.



So, thread revived. The other one, good vs evil is up and running quite vivid again, too. Winter is a great time.
