    ultramarine veteran WIP

so, it's a quick conversion for private order, the guy doesn't want something particular. all the way was for me.

the insign on the helmet is quite amazing , but saw it on a gibbons drawing and it wasn't so bad...
it's quite a dark picture but my XP bundle doesn't work well anyway...

i've just to finish the shield and some details on the sword.

agreed, the only thing i don't like is the U on his helmet.. looks funny, would have looked better on the backpack... but then again... originality is always a plus

WOW!!! That's amazing. Not an Ultramarine player, but that's a classy, well conceived and superbly executed miniature. Love it.

I concur with Simto, the U on the head looks rather odd, it'd looked better on the backpack. Other than that, good work!

    And that helmet is greatie!

I would go for a Moican style (you know... the hair that punks have in a different variety of colours and sizes) for the helmet. I always find that more appropriate for for an Ultramarine Vet. (thats veteran not veterinary...)

otherwise perfect use of greens and VERY classy helmet!!

Wow, wonderful, the U does seem odd, but nothing to worry about with a body like that.

    Incredible.

The U wouldn't look so odd with a spartan mo-hawk deal going through it.

Nice conversion, I look foward to the finished product.

that is a very nice model but i agree with what others have said about the U on the head, Izrams mo-hawk idea sounds cool though. also why is the backpack cool on one side and normal on the other, you should try getting both vent things the same so it looks more symetrical.

it's not for me, i don't know how it'll be painted...

the backpack is for black templar model. i saw on illustrations that exhaust are done with skull, but i'll do them symetricaly. you're rigt !

anyway, the U isn't popular, so i'll rezise it. but on an other helmet, this one is ok for the person that i'm sculpt.
