Hahaha, seconded. So great stuff in here. Love the trolls and the whole 'Ere be Giants thing is an amazing idea. Each model is very characterful and really cool stuff.

I must get back to that plog and get the last few painted.

Keep getting distracted by other stuff.

Meanwhile ... these are what has distracted me recently.

These are pre-slotta C14 "Lesser Night Goblins".
They are rare as hell, a b@gger to find on e-bay and I really want a couple more if anyone has some.

Here is a little conversion I did for a standard bearer:

Here they are as a ranked up unit.

Those are lovely. They look tiny as well. I recently started to paint Warlord's TYW models, and they're quite a bit smaller than beastmen, I had to go down a brush size.

Here is one next to a snotling ...

Great work Harry. Love this thread as it is a great trip down memory lane!! I feel your pain when it comes to sourcing old figures with being ripped off. Took me years to find a decently priced chaos toilet. Subscribed!

Tiny miniatures, but I think these pre-slotta ones easily can hold a candle to many later, blockier sculpts. I especially like the wicker shields. I may have written it earlier, but it's worth repeating that your paintjob and basing help bring out the old models. The lesser night goblin unit looks suitably realistic.

Consistently great work. It's a joy to follow this thread, even though I sadly lurk more than I comment - paint something badly sometime so we get something to criticize!

Those lesser night goblins are a true gem, and I don't envy you the task of hunting them down...

Keep it up mate, it's always a joy to see this log updated!

Thanks. Yes these lesser night goblins are at least as nice as any of the snotlings that followed them. I am aiming for realistic over cartoony as much as possible.
