Log off Doom 4.0

I return (again)... with more poorly spelt thread title and rubbish picture quality, but this time my log will have a purpose and not just a collection of random models. I'll be painting Nightlords, Orc's n Gobbo's and maybe some Renegade Militia.

First up some of my pre-heresy termi's


basic marines( was my TO40KP submission)


plastic pathfinder conversion box, just guardians with no arms... so far. Also if anyone in Edinburgh has any Wood Elf cloaks and is willing to trade, let me know.


And finally my first Militiaman, not to happy with the metal but everthing else I'm pleased with.

Sorry for the lack of updates folks this has been keeping me busy.


I did manage to get some painting done, began working on my Vulture, just need to finish the weathering, metal, pilots and weapons and it'll be good to go. Hehe you can see my school in the background there.


First attempt at freehand on a model, I'm quite chuffed with it as I can't draw to save myself


Starteed weathering the metal around the engine using the Tamiya weathering powder, those things are great.

The weathering looks good on that vulture, though looks like you've jus brushed it on, so looks quite thick. How were you applying them?

Sorry for lack of updates people

Been busyth e last few days making dstuff for the Oaths of Battle's thingy majig that my FLGS has going on right now. Decided to throw together a Vulkan He'Stan model.



Not to sure wheter to keep the beaky hea or cahnge it for something different, also he's spear does have a top I just ran out of drill bits for my pin vice.

Well I've gota spare mk7 and tactital marine sergeant helmet heads left. I'm leaning towards giving him the tactital marine sergeant helmet to make him stand out from my other characters who have mk7.

Looks good. What scale are does barrels, jerry-cans, etc. on your objective marker?

As for painting black cloth, try highlighting black with with a dark grey (Adeptus Battlegrey should be dark enough) and then give it a wash or two with Badab Black wash.

I think they are 1/48 scale not 100% on this as I got them ages ago

Models are looking pretty cool. For the Eldar "pathfinder" have you though of green stuff clock in the event you can not get the woofelf once other wise check here
