I was looking back over the recent pictures and noticed that I missed the khorne icon on the axe. Im still in awe of this figure glad you finished it before moving on to the stealers. Hope we get to see the unit finished one day.

true that! Oh, and I just noticed the faded 'Tanith' on the combat knife scabard. Very nice touch.

Hmm, wasn't so much of a recipe as a "I'll do this and see what happens" so it's quite complicated.

Basically the whole head was painted dheneb stone, then washed with 2 thin washes of baal red:devlan mud:griphone sepia. The skin was then highlighted with "juices" of dheneb stone. The areas round the eyes and mouth were then shaded with thin washes of hormagaunt purple mixed with a little charadon granite and tiny amount of dheneb. A final highlight of P3 menoth white/dheneb stone mix was then added.

Home made from some terminator chainblades, a chainsword engine and some sprue I'm afraid. Easy enough to make though.

Not likely to be working on anymore in the next few months at least. Lack of time coupled with a number of other projects and ideas on the go at the moment. The Genestealer magus is currently my main focus.
