This is a marine list that I have played for quite a while. I just want to know what your responses are to this list. This has done fairly well in tournaments but often times fails because of bad reserve rolls. It is pretty devestating when in comes to escalation missions though. It completely kicks butt at escalation. I wanted to put this up and see what people think I should do with the list to make it better. Honestly I never played with the trust your battle brothers, but it would seriously make up for the shortcoming of my army (the assault phase). I think it would actually make my list quite a bit better. I don't know for sure though.

Total Models
55 marines
1 Librarian
3 land speeders
The other way I use to play this would be to not have the true grit and have essentially 6 more models. I don't know for sure whether that is a good or a bad thing. I could also drop all 3 landspeeders but they also account for a lot of the mobility in this army. I use them to grab last minute quarters and take down light to heavy infantry at a distance. The problem is that they die too quickly and don't survive too long. I could possibly cut them out, and add an assault squad without jump packs in a drop pod. It would be a 10 man squad with 1x plasma pistol and a vet with a powerfist inside a drop pod. I would also have 12 points left over so I could actually buy frag grenades for my command squad. Which option do you think is better? The second one give me more models but cuts down on strategic flexability.
The third option is for me to turn it into a COMPLETELY assaulty list. It would actually work out quite well and would really be just contingent upon me getting the models for it. I would just change the trust your battle brothers trait to take the fight to them.
That particular list would look like this.

A WHOPPING 10!! Meltaguns
Makes that Land raider quake in its boots. I have the models for the first army listed and would have to seriously revamp my army to get the 2nd one to work, but it may be worth it to do it. I think it may make for quite an assaulty army of doom, but who knows. LMK which list you guys like better. With this configuration, I end up losing out half of my firepower while shooting but I gain a million times more close combat potential. It also allows my guys to crack any tank on the table.
