Doghouse is back and he is green!
Brilliant stuff Doghouse. I love the Deffkopta it looks really cool and is downright Orky! Orks with goggles and gasmasks are always a winner.
Thanks guys!
Well I haven't got much painting done but I have been spending a lot of time assembling, converting and sculpting.
First up we have Da Feeving Gits, the beginings of the Grot mob. I've bought twenty of the grot model from the biker kits and have begun assembling them before GSing.
I'll be converting two of the Nobz models into Runtherdz to keep them in line.
Kommandos
I've got some more work done on the Kommandos, mainly on the Snikrot proxy model. I've now got enough models for a fifteen Ork unit. I've added some goggles to Snikrot and begun sculpting the left arm, I was going to have him pointing but have now decided to ahve him reaching out for his next victim and have to sculpt the fingers on next.

Here's the beginnings of my Nobz Mob. I've only got seven pictured here but the other three are on the way. I'll be cutting the left arm off all but two who will be weilding power klaws and really going to town on the conversions. I may make one a pain boy.
I've got a bit done on the big choppa for the warboss but it still needs a lot of work.

this will be an amazing army but how do you buy all that stuff without using bitzbox.

Thanks mate.
For the AoBR bits like the Nobz and the Warbosses I use Ebay, you can pick them up pretty cheap as I've been getting a Warboss and five Nobz for a fiver at a time with some hunting around.
For the Grots I used the warstore which was pretty cheap as well.
Doghouse, I've been a fan of all your work so far and this lot is certainly no exception. Keep it up you crazy man!
That a lot of ork warbossies & I though the kids that my wargaming club where crazy getting a shed load (not as many as your self) lol
They do look really great & I really like how, though it the same model you have mange to keep them all indivial (sp?)/single/look diffrent from each other.
Your army is look cool & has given me a lot idea for my own ork force. Can't wait to see some more models/when the army is fully painted.

Thanks guys!
Just a quick update. I've started to rennovate the Deff Dred by swopping out the shootas for rokkits to add some much needed anti-vehicle weapons and adding a grot rigger which I'm now starting to paint.
I've just finished assembling about fourty of the boyz so I hope to get started on some painting soon.

Well this looks like it should be rather cool. Im going to be watching this with great interest.
I like the Nobz-as-Boyz concept. Your waaagh will be frakkin' 'uge!
However, the static pose of the AoBR Warboss could be very limiting for your Nobz Mob, giving them a 'Legion of Super Clones' appearance. It's the one position for the legs which makes it stand out the most. For the Boss Snikrot model even cutting his left leg at the top of the boot and re-attaching it in the same direction as his pointing arm would help the apparent motion of the model immensely.
I know that cutting an re-posing all of the Warboss-as-Nobz legs would be very time consuming, but doing just one in three would add enough visual variety to the Nobz Mob. Also, the re-posed legs could fit on a standard base and add to the impression of the Nobz great size , especially when compared to the Nobz-as-Boyz in the same unit.
I've converted all of my AoBR Nobz into Flash Gitz, so I know you'll be able to make a mob of Shoota Boyz fairly easily.
