Sweet, I can't wait to see them done. And, no cookies for me, I have no idea on any of them.
Looks like you lost this game in the "purchase models" phase.

Hey, we Brits have plenty of culture!

You just have to look a little harder for it. The arts/culture shows are usually on BBC four, and the good histoy stuff is on UKTV History. Museums are usually free entry, most towns have art galleries (even mine, and mines a .. poo hole)
and theatres, and lots of public libraries.

As for books... Dickens, Chaucer, Austen, The Brontes, Christie...
Movies: most independent Brit films are very watchable. And we drive on the correct side of the road! Japan agrees, don't you Japan?

And I like the sculping. Its hard to emulate an existing figure completely, of course, but I think you've done really well.

Oh, and we created Warhammer... so .. yeah :P

I'd hardly call a mix of Anglo-saxon, Norman, Viking, Roman and Gaelic influences underdeveloped!

There's the great British philosophers (Francis Bacon, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke), countless inventions and discoveries, the industrial revolution, not to mention all the naughty imperialism of the past

There's cockneys, west country folk, Scots, Irish, Welsh, Geordies, posh-types and all sorts of different types of British people.

Even your favourite wargame, Warhammer, had races based on British stereotypes (Orks is football hooligans innit), with our usual cynical sense of humour thrown in for good measure.

Oops, my first post in ages and it's off topic. Your a master sculptor mate, when do you plan on working for GW?

There's one thing I want to know about British "culture":

    Nudity, Swearing and evolution.

How's it in Britain? May a tv-host yell [Vulgar word for female genitalia] aloud without censure?
Nope, if he did he'd be sacked and there'd be a very large fuss. Recently 2 radio presenters got in to a lot of trouble for phoning a retired celebrity and saying the slept with his grandaughter

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell...hone_calls_row

Ironically despite the outcry from just about everyone noone seemed to mention that the woman actually was a high class dominatrix/prostitute...

Evolution. (Note: Do not discuss whether Evolution is right or wrong, I don't want this sent to P&R, I just want the facts)

In America however, the news said, 75% did not believe in evolution, which increased the already existing stereotype of Americans being, ehmmm, "Unscientific".

    How's it in Britain?
Not to bad, we're better than America but there is a very small minority suggesting that "Intelligent Design" be taught here, which doesnt bode well

    Nudity.

    How's Britain?
About the same level as America, nudity is very taboo on television only the briefest of brief flashes is allowed in anything and even then if it is its very very rare and sure to be shocking to the audience.

Looking forward to seeing more DoW stuff!

    Re: Serges sculpt plog.

    Hi there

    love the models

on the topic of naked swearing monkeys

in england nudity is rarely shown on BBC1 and BBC2 (unless its a drama about prossies) other channels it depends when you want to watch channel 4 and 5 are much more happy about nudity after 9o'clock (known as the watershed) channel 4 is more about hard hitting docs channel 5 is more about getting 14 year olds to tune in at night. but nipples are fair game after 9 it normally causes outrage if on before 9, erect male gentatils are always fuzzed out no mater what the time. lady bits are only ever show on women health shows after 9 on channel 4/5

Swearing kinda follows the same rules not aloud before the watershed unless by acidient or to be gritty and modern, between 9pm and 10pm they can say the f word once after 10 they can say it as much as they like on channel 4, not sure on BBC and 5.

When i was at school meny years ago we had Religious education lessions (RE) and also was taught science so it was up to us to decide to belevie or not

    hope that helps

any other questions ill be happy to try and help

Ello Serge. For this quote I shall make you Immortal!

"I hate contemporary art. (if you now can call that art.) it's almost an anagram of Temporary Crap. (Which it usually happens to be)."

I won't really, in the trade we call that a lie... but I'm mostly right there with you, a lot of contemporary art IS crap (well actually I won't call any art crap, just not for me), but do remember contemporary art is any art produced since WWII, so you are infact a contemporary artist yourself.
There is a fine line between genius and insanity, I have accidently blured this line. Sorry

Not if I make my art in a classical style, then I'm not* a contemporary artist, I'm a Retro-Gardist.

*literally I am, but not in the true meaning.
