Wondered if any of you had tried Blitzkreig Commander and if so what you thought?

It's a development of the Warmaster ruleset, with some involvement from Rick Preistly but seperate from GW I think. There's a "lite" copy of the rules to download for free on the site and it does look pretty good

Should I be tempted away from my (well loved) Flames of War ruleset? I'm tend toward "fun to play" rather than strict realism but I like that this offers you rules for divisional level games - pretty huge really!

I have played a few games using these rules. As a big fan of Warmaster I thought the rules were very playable and worked well.

But download the lite rules and try them out using your Flames of War minis.

This is a great system. I think that it is hands down better than FOW. Just my opinion, but it has a really well researched set of army lists and a super playable rules set. I ran some games at Origins this year and everyone who played it, loved it. I whole heartedly recommend it to ya. The best part is that the rules and over 26 different army lists are there in the book! No need to have to buy the rulebook and then 20 other army books.

I really cannot say enough good about this system. It is great! Check it out.

Does anyone here know of a company that sells 1/600 scale armor and planes? I know of a couple (Skytrex and PT Dockyard), but they don't have a large selection of what I need, just a lot of boats. I got some Tiger Is from Skytrex recently, and they're pretty damn good miniatures for that small of a scale. I interested in using that scale for large WWII battles. I mean REALLY large battles.
