I hope there will be some pictures on the GW website soon. I am out of town at the moment, so I can't take any new pictures right now.

Its been a pleasure following the build. It will be cool to see what else you do with him, with the source lighting I mean.

Well for the next project. You've pumped out two special characters for WoC already. So how about another one? Working on a smaller model like Festus or Villitch should be refreshing. Also, do you have more WoC guys painted that you haven't posted?

As soon as I get back, I will finish him and we will see how well I can do the source lighting.
For next project I would actually like to get some troops done for this army (although a monster army isnt the best in eighth). So I might start converting my stone trolls for chaos trolls, or maybe I will try to do some dragon ogres completely from scratch.
I dont really have any other chaos models painted. I only have 5 knights and 5 mounted marauders. I also have Empire, Dwarf and Chaos Dwarf armies I have to finish... So many things!

I think this is hands down the best Kolek I've encountered, both in terms of painting and sculpting. I absolutely love that hammer!

Oh, wow! There are still people remembering this old thread?!

Unfortunately, real life and other armies got in the way, so this never became an army... Just a close friendship between Throgg and Kholek. They are hnpaving long and deep existential conversations on my shelf while gathering dust.
A couple of years with master thesis writing and finding a real job really messed up with my hobby. In the meantime i have continued collecting, but that just means that my dwarf and empire armies got bigger and i now have a chaos dwarf army as well, so I dont think there will be time for this chaos project in the near future. I have started painting/repainting my empire and after that i will need to touch up on my dwarves and paint all the unpainted ones that have amassed, and of course i need to paint the chaos dwarves also... phew

I would like to thank all of you guys for commenting on this plog! Throgg and Kholek wouldn't have been finished without the support and advice I got here. Warseer truly is a great place for hobbyists like us! I might start a plog for my empire some time soon although updates will be painfully slow.
