Cass fantasy stuff, rot and zombies!

    Hey all!

Edit: now with vampire counts on page 2

Being almost done with my 40k army I thought it was time to start another little project, Nurgle daemons. Being a long time nurgle fan and player both in whfb and 40k but I never had many daemons, well thats changed now having bought 51 plaguebearers on the Swedish convention bsk last weekend, owning 14 from before and ordering a box of the new command I'm now up to 70 plaguebearers! Crazy I know...
I don't really have army list yet and I don't really know where tis army is going, but I guess I'll end up around 3000 point having 4 herald a guo and some other juicy stuff. And once my daemons is done I'll guess it's time to pic up my old warriors of chaos and rebuild them to, but thats for later. Much of the inspiration to building this army has come from seeing other great nurgle army's like DV8's and skulliz stuff, so thank to both of you!

Well my goal is to be done with this army to late may once I'll bring them to a big tournament on Lincon, (another Swedish convention) so I have plenty of time.

well time for some pic of what I've done so far. First up will be some pb's and a herald. I got 14 of them and a herald done, just need to do the bases but that will have to wait till I've painted the last 5 guys for the regiment. (witch I'll expect to do today)

    Well here goes.

Is the herald a GW model? It's got a really nice pose (and paint job).

I think this is a model from Mordheim game - The Carnival of Chaos warband to be precise.

Its a great model and an excellent paint job - Well done to you Cassarus!

    Thanks guys!
And yes it's the carnival master from mordheim!
I'm currently finishing of the last guys of the first regiment and I've built three nurgling bases, so tomorrow I'll try to do the bases on the regiment and start on my nurglings.

    Thanks mate!
Well sure I can: it's a weary simple paint scheme actually. undercoated whit, then paint all skin tanned flesh, highlighted with dwarf flesh, then carefully washed with levitan purple, ogre flesh and baal red. then it's another highlight with with dwarf flesh and a last one with elf flesh.

I'll try to do a little mini tutorial once I start painting some more plaguebearers.

    Cheers

everything looks good mate, nice paintjob on the minis, always prefer the flesh tones on nurgle models than just green, brings out the rotten and putird bits a lot more imo, and nice to see some classic minis

Nice. Great job so far. In fact I think you've inspired me enough to go over and pick my brush up...

MD: You got a christmas gift?
House: Yeah, 'cause I worship Santa. Or wait, is that Satan? I always get them mixed up.

and some furies I've been working on. don't really like the models like most people but I've bought them a long time ago, waist not... I might exchange them some day, when I find the motivation to sculpt nurglings with wings^^
